France’s AXA commits up to 200 million euros to Monte dei Paschi cash call – sources

MILAN (Reuters) - French insurer AXA has committed up to 200 million euros ($195.28 million) towards the capital increase at its Italian banking partner Monte dei Paschi di Siena, two people close to the matter said on Thursday.

MILAN (Reuters) – French insurer AXA has committed up to 200 million euros ($195.28 million) towards the capital increase at its Italian banking partner Monte dei Paschi di Siena, two people close to the matter said on Thursday.

AXA declined to comment.
