    Our Verdict

⚖️ Offers up to 100x leverage on Futures trades

📈Ultra-tight spreads on 400+ pairs for high-frequency trading & scalping

I think Flipster is best suited for high-frequency traders (from scalpers to whales), who focus on flipping perpetual contracts in short time frames.

    • Advanced desktop trading platform
    • Flawless security track record
    • Detailed Proof of Reserves
    • Launchpool for early token discovery
    • Deep liquidity

    • No fiat services
    • No P2P, trading bots, or copy trading
    • No dedicated Lite mode for beginners

    Is Flipster Right for You?

Not all traders are the same. Some want simple mobile apps, while others need advanced tools like leverage or social trading. We group traders into seven main types and evaluate exchanges based on how well they meet each group’s needs.

Our clear, data-driven method ranks platforms as a perfect match, good choice, or not recommended. Flipster lacks key features like bots, DCA, and copy trading, making it unsuitable for those strategies. However, it can still be a solid choice for other trader types. Here’s our verdict:

Flipster is a perfect match for Casual Traders. While the platform has only 7 spot trading pairs, it offers the main large-cap tokens that most casual users trade. It compensates for the limited trading pairs with low trading fees and comprehensive Proof of Reserves.

During testing, I found the mobile app to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it accessible for beginners who are new to trading. Orders were easy to place, and trades were executed quickly across all spot markets. The exchange also offers industry-standard security protocols and detailed Proof of Reserves for added peace of mind.

    Pros
    • Spot & futures trading with 0.05% taker fees
    • Zero spreads on 20+ major perp pairs
    • User-friendly mobile app
    • Detailed Proof of Reserves on 30+ assets
    • Offers staking for passive income
    Cons
    • Only 7 spot markets available
    • No fiat support
    • No margin trading
    • No dedicated Lite Mode for beginners

Flipster is a perfect match for day traders, offering an advanced desktop platform with TradingView integration. Flipster also offers very tight spreads on over 400 additional perpetuals, providing some of the most competitive spreads in the industry. While the mobile app lacks a Lite Mode, it remains intuitive and beginner-friendly.

As an experienced trader, I found the desktop platform met nearly all my needs, providing strong tools for technical analysis and tracking macroeconomic trends. However, the limited conditional order types and a small number of spot trading pairs were notable drawbacks.

    Pros
    • Spot & futures trading with 0.05% taker fees
    • Zero spreads on 20+ major perp pairs
    • Advanced desktop trading platform
    • Detailed Proof of Reserves on 30+ assets
    • Offers staking for passive income
    • Launchpool for early token discovery
    Cons
    • Only 7 spot markets available
    • Low liquidity score
    • No P2P, bots, or copy trading

Flipster is an acceptable choice for Derivative Traders. It offers an advanced trading platform that integrates TradingView for complex technical analysis and leverage levels up to 100x. I also found that Flipster’s funding fees are among the lowest in the sector, even surpassing industry leader Binance.

My experience trading futures on Flipster was generally positive. Although there are only limited conditional orders, I found it easy to place limit orders and manage positions on both desktop and mobile platforms. However, the platform does not offer spot margin trading, so beginners need to jump straight into futures trading to use leverage.

    Pros
    • 0.05% on taker fees
    • Advanced desktop platform
    • Leverage level is up to 100x
    • TradingView integration with over 100 technical indicators
    Cons
    • Limited conditional order types
    • No spot margin available

Flipster is an acceptable choice, offering access to major coins with low trading fees. This makes it ideal for position traders who trade large volumes of major coins, allowing them to open and close positions and pay lower fees.

As someone with a separate long-term portfolio, I found Flipster to be a solid option. The exchange offers most of the coins I hold long term, and its full Proof of Reserves provides peace of mind. I also found the Earn products useful: any USDT held on the platform earns interest automatically, even if it’s not being used in trades. This lets users generate some passive income from idle balances.

    Pros
    • Spot trading with 0.05% taker fees
    • Detailed Proof of Reserves on 30+ assets
    • Offers staking for passive income
    • Launchpool for early token discovery
    • Competitive APYs
    Cons
    • Only 7 spot markets available
    • Low liquidity score
    • No fiat support

    Flipster Bonuses and Special Offers

Welcome Offers & Sign-Up Bonus: Flipster’s sign-up bonus offers new traders up to 150 USDT in rewards, and an extra 10 USDT worth of Flipster bonus when you complete all tasks within 30 days. While this may seem less compared to some competitors, Flipster’s requirements are much more attainable. Getting the full welcome bonus requires just four simple steps: register, pass KYC verification, deposit at least 50 USDT, and reach 100,000 USDT in trading volume.

New users are also automatically subscribed to Flipster’s Loss Protection program, which covers trading losses up to 20 USDT during your first few trades. All you have to do is deposit and maintain an account balance of at least 100 USDT. This removes a lot of the anxiety from making those first few trades, giving beginners some breathing room to learn the ropes without worrying about losing money.

Bonuses: Flipster’s Profit Boost is a unique feature for traders. For a small activation fee, this tool doubles your earnings for 5 minutes when trading BTC, ETH, SOL, or XRP futures. It increases your gains without increasing losses like leverage or margin would, so if the trade ends in a loss, you only lose the activation fee.

Referral Program: The Flipster Referral Program enables users to earn unlimited commissions. For every friend referred to Flipster, referrers can now earn 25% trading commission on their friends’ trades for a year (365 days). The more their referrals trade, the greater the rewards the referrer can earn.

    Security & Transparency

    3.9
How Did We Test The Exchange’s Security & Transparency?
Assessing a crypto exchange’s trustworthiness is crucial. To help you decide which exchange to use, we meticulously tested each exchange’s proof of reserves, deposit insurance, and cybersecurity measures, examining how well they protect traders and investors. Additionally, we evaluated the exchange’s stability by studying its history of hacks and the jurisdictions it operates in. Finally, we thoroughly reviewed all of the exchange’s legal documentation and publicly available information about its founders, drawing conclusions about their transparency. Our hands-on approach, including real-world testing and direct evaluation, ensures that even novice traders have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.
    Chart

Flipster offers robust security and full transparency, including daily Proof of Reserves and ISO 27001 certification. Its current security setup is solid for most users.

✔️ No history of hacks or fund losses
🌐 ≥100% Proof of Reserves for 30+ assets
    🔐 Supports 2FA, biometrics & passkeys
🚫 No withdrawal whitelist or anti-phishing codes

    Flipster Security Overview Details
Proof of Reserves (PoR) ≥100% reserve ratio on BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC & 29 more cryptos
    Insurance No
    KYC Verification KYC is mandatory
Security Audits Regular audits & ISO 27001 certification
Account Security Support for 2FA (Google Authenticator, SMS, Email), Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint & FaceID), and Passkeys

    Proof of Reserves

Flipster offers detailed Proof of Reserve data, with a ≥100% reserve ratio on over 30 different cryptos, including BTC, ETH, SOL, USDC & USDT. The exchange uses Merkle Tree for verification, with daily updates posted along with every reserve wallet address.

Users can access specific information regarding reserves of their individual assets. These measures offer reassurance, especially considering the number of cryptos and frequency of updates, something which is not common among smaller exchanges.

    Account Security

Flipster offers all the industry-standard security measures for users to protect their accounts, including 2FA, biometric authentication, and passkey support across both mobile and desktop platforms. The only notable features missing are withdrawal whitelists and anti-phishing codes.

Personally, I set up Google Authenticator for 2FA, biometric authentication in the mobile app, and passkeys for the desktop platform. However, I was disappointed by the lack of anti-phishing codes and withdrawal whitelists.

    General Reliability

    • Deposit Insurance: Flipster currently does not provide insurance coverage for user assets held on the exchange. Although most exchanges do not typically offer this, leading platforms like Binance, Bitget, and Gemini have begun offering self-insurance or third-party insurance coverage for user assets.
    • Bug Bounty Program: Flipster runs a bug bounty program on Hackenproof, with rewards of up to $3,000 for reporting vulnerabilities.
    • Corporate Communication Structure and Transparency: The exchange maintains active accounts on Twitter, Telegram, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

    Verified Trust Scores

Cer.live rates Flipster’s security, penetration tests, bug bounty, and ISO 27001 certification, giving it an AA rating (AAA is the highest, D is the lowest).

    Know Your Customer (KYC)

Flipster implemented mandatory KYC to meet global anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. The exchange offers 4 KYC levels:

    • Level 1 only requires an email and categorizes users as unverified, meaning deposits and trading are not available.
    • Level 2 demands your full name, a photo of a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license, ID card), and a selfie.
    • Levels 3 and 4 require proof of address and proof of source of funds.

During testing, Level 2 verification was completed almost instantly. It took 2 minutes to take a picture of both sides of my ID and upload a selfie, with the automated system instantly verifying my account.

Is Flipster Safe to Trade With?

Our findings show Flipster provides a high level of trust and security, making it a reliable choice for security-conscious traders. The exchange offers comprehensive Proof of Reserves, covering a wide range of assets, ISO 27001 certification, and a range of account security measures, including biometric authentication and 2FA.

Although the exchange has not experienced any security breaches in its operational history, it would be beneficial to see it implement some form of insurance coverage on user deposits.

    Trading Experience

    3.6
How Did We Test The Exchange’s Trading Experience?
We understand that an intuitive and functional interface plays a crucial role in your crypto trading experience. That's why we spent many hours testing the exchange’s web, desktop, and mobile trading platforms to gain a real understanding of their usability, functionality, and overall performance. By experimenting with different modes — lite and pro — we assessed the range of trading options, API offerings, conditional orders, and other features. We conduct real-life testing: we open an account, pass KYC, deposit funds, execute trades, and withdraw funds. Our opinion, based on a thorough examination of every aspect of these platforms, helps you make an informed choice.

    Trading Test

For our trading test, we thoroughly evaluated the Flipster platform. We signed up, completed KYC, logged in, deposited funds, made withdrawals, tested trading pairs and conversions, and assessed transfer and withdrawal fees. This comprehensive test helps us provide a reliable review of the exchange’s usability, features, and costs. Here’s our detailed analysis:

Step 1: Setting Up and Funding Your Account

Signing up with Flipster was not as smooth as I’d hoped. When I tried registering on the desktop platform, I received an error stating I was in a restricted location, even though I was in an EU country not on the Restricted Country list. Customer support quickly rectified the situation, and I was able to complete registration using the mobile app.

KYC Level 2 was straightforward: uploading my ID and a selfie took under 2 minutes, and I was verified instantly.

I deposited USDC via Solana. The funds arrived within 2 minutes after just 2 confirmations.

    Step 2: Trading

Mobile trading was fast and intuitive. I placed a limit buy order for SOL/USDT, which executed precisely when the price matched. A tight stop-loss worked perfectly.

    Step 3: Withdrawal and Review

Withdrawing USDT over BEP-20 was seamless. After verifying with Google Authenticator and email, the funds arrived in my wallet within 2 minutes. Withdrawals are free on several networks, a definite plus.

    Desktop Version

Flipster’s desktop platform provides a comprehensive trading experience suitable for both beginners and experienced traders. It combines advanced features and trading tools with an intuitive layout that is easy for beginners to navigate.

    Tools for Active Traders Availability
    Order Book Depth No
    Advanced Charting Yes
Technical Indicators Yes (107, including TradingView)
    Drawing Tools Yes
    Watchlist Yes
    MetaTrader 4/5 Support No

    Trading Interface

The spot trading interface follows the standard layout most traders will recognize, making it easy to adapt if you’re switching from another exchange. The main dashboard is clean, with a menu bar that lets you switch between trading, staking, and Flipster’s unique Market Insights feature. Navigating the platform was simple, and all core trading tools were easy to access.

    • Charting: TradingView integration gives access to 100+ indicators and drawing tools.
    • Market Insights: A standout feature that highlights upcoming macro events and allows pre-scheduling of orders around them, which is helpful for volatility trading.

There are a few notable limitations that could be dealbreakers for more active traders:

    • No order book or recent trade data in the spot interface, limiting visibility into market depth and activity.
    • Fixed layout on desktop with no drag-and-drop or resizable modules.
    • Only basic conditional orders are supported: Market, Limit, Price Trigger, and Time Trigger. There’s no support for Trailing Stop, TWAP, Iceberg, or TIF.

    Derivatives Trading

Flipster focuses on perpetual futures trading, offering 0.05% taker fees and up to 100x leverage. With over 400+ futures markets, Flipster covers everything from large-cap markets to the latest trending ones. The platform only provides USDT-M perpetual markets and does not support COIN-M or delivery markets.

The desktop platform also includes a Market Pulse panel on the left, which displays real-time price movements and the realized profits of top traders. I found this especially helpful for monitoring volatility across multiple markets without switching screens.

During my testing, I found that despite the lower trading volume, orders were always executed quickly, and I had no issues with partial fills. Flipster offers a solid range of futures markets, and I observed that they provided all the major and trending markets. However, the limited range of conditional orders prevented me from using trading strategies like TWAP.

    Mobile App

Flipster’s mobile app is available on both iOS and Android, providing a smooth trading experience that combines advanced features with an easy-to-use interface suitable for beginners, even without a dedicated Lite Mode. During my testing, the app functioned flawlessly on both platforms.

    • Coin Search: Flipster’s coin search page makes it easy to find and trade from hundreds of available markets. Filters allow you to quickly browse favourites, open positions, perpetual markets, and spot markets. It also shows current market prices and 24-hour change percentages, but doesn’t enable filtering by market categories.
    • Trading Features: The mobile app offers the same features as the desktop platform, including order forms for all order types. A key feature is full TradingView charting, which many competitors lack. I found placing orders and trading was quick and reliable, making it easy to manage positions on the go.
    • Social trading: One of my favourite features was the app’s social trading and market news tab. Social integrations show you recent trades placed by the most profitable traders on Flipster. At the same time, the Market News tab keeps you updated on macroeconomic events and crypto news that could impact the market, helping you spot trading opportunities.
    • Market Discover: Flipster provides discovery features such as market trends, hot trading pairs, new listings, top gainers, high volume, and funding rates on the homepage. It also allows browsing markets by categories like Memecoins, AI, DeFi, Gaming, Layer 1/2, helping explore specific sectors.
    • Watchlist Management: Adding markets to the watchlist is easy; simply click the star in the top left of any tokens page to add it to your favorites. Favorited tokens are shown both on the homepage and in the search bar.
    • Portfolio Clarity: The assets page offers a breakdown of your portfolio across both spot and perpetual wallets. It also displays a detailed breakdown of your asset allocation and portfolio value over time, helping you easily visualise your portfolio growth over time.

The assets page also displays all your open perpetual futures positions, including funding fees incurred, invested funds, available balance, and unrealized P&L.

My Key Takeaways After Testing Flipster

The desktop version offers a seamless experience, especially for futures traders. I had no issues trading with up to 100x leverage, and features like Market Insights helped me catch macro-driven moves.

    • Strong performance and quick order execution
    • 400+ futures markets with low fees
    • Insights tab is a standout for active traders

Flipster’s app is fast, intuitive, and well-suited for beginners and experienced users. I liked how easy it was to navigate, place trades, and run chart analysis with full TradingView support, even on the go.

    • Clean layout with responsive performance
    • TradingView charts and order placement are smooth
    • Social feed and macro news add real value

Overall, Flipster delivers a reliable trading experience across both platforms. While it may not satisfy advanced traders, it hits the mark for most users looking for speed, simplicity, and solid futures tools.

    Fees

How Did We Test The Exchange’s Fees?
Understanding an exchange’s fees can be challenging. To simplify this for you, we carefully examined all the exchange's fee-related documentation and presented it in a clear, easy-to-understand format. Additionally, we conducted hands-on tests for depositing and withdrawing both fiat and crypto to understand all trading, non-trading, and hidden fees. We then compared these real-time test results to the market benchmark we've established through our extensive experience evaluating the industry.

    Are Flipster Fees Competitive?

Flipster’s low trading fees on spot and futures markets make it one of the industry’s most competitive exchanges.

I usually use limit orders when trading to cut down on fees, but with Flipster, I could use market orders for instant execution with low fees. Limit orders are mainly needed when trading low-liquidity markets to avoid slippage, making Flipster suitable for high-frequency and casual traders.

How Did We Test The Exchange’s Deposits & Withdrawals?
The deposit or withdrawal process can be tricky, with potential hidden fees, longer-than-expected processing times, and limited options in certain countries. To assess an exchange’s offerings, we examined its deposit and withdrawal options, conditions, and fiat currency support. We also conducted real-time testing to evaluate the available options in specific areas and determine the actual fees. Using our proprietary database, we compared these results with those of other exchanges, ensuring a comprehensive, firsthand assessment.
    Chart

Flipster is a crypto-only platform with no fiat deposit or withdrawal options. Users must first convert fiat to crypto elsewhere before transferring it to Flipster, which can be inconvenient, especially for beginners.

    💰 Deposit methods: Crypto only

    💸 Withdrawal methods: Crypto only

🚫 No fiat support, no third-party payment providers, and no P2P marketplace

⏱️ Crypto withdrawals are fast and efficient, with low network fees

    Flipster Deposit/Withdrawal Options

During testing, I was forced to use another exchange to convert fiat into crypto before depositing it into Flipster. While experienced users may not mind, beginners or those used to card or bank transfers might prefer more accessible options like Kraken or Binance.

Since Flipster was launched in 2021, I hope they will add fiat support. On the plus side, crypto withdrawals were fast and efficient. During my testing, I found that withdrawals were processed quickly across a range of networks.

    Flipster Daily Withdrawal Limits

Method Availability Daily Withdrawal Limit (Crypto) Daily Withdrawal Limit (Fiat)
Crypto (USDT) Yes 1,000,000 USDT $1,000,000
    Cash/Fiat (USD, EUR, etc.) No

Flipster has a fixed withdrawal limit of 1,000,000 USDT or equivalent for crypto withdrawals for all users. This limit applies to both single transactions and daily totals. While competitors like Binance offer withdrawal limits starting at 8,000,000 USDT, Flipster’s withdrawal limit should be enough for the average user.

    Customer Service

How Did We Test The Exchange’s Customer Service?
Crypto traders often underestimate the importance of customer support, yet it proves to be a critical aspect during times of crisis. We tested the exchange’s customer support through all available channels, including chatbot, phone, email, and live chat with an agent. Our evaluation focused on the accessibility of live agents, response speed, and the helpfulness and professionalism of their responses. This way, we provide comprehensive insights into whether an exchange can deliver full support when you need it most.

    Flipster Customer Service Test

To evaluate customer service quality for diverse needs, we designed a trading test. We contact support using all methods, presenting hypothetical problems. Our focus is response speed, help quality, and real-person availability, measuring support for traders and casual investors.

    Chat Test

During testing, I was able to speak with a customer support agent in under 2 minutes. When signing up, I had an issue where the platform restricted me due to my location, even though I was in a supported country. However, the customer support agent quickly suggested a workaround that allowed me to sign up.

    Email Test

I emailed Flipster support with a complex trading-related question. Although the live chat couldn’t help directly, the team responded via email in just under 5 hours. The reply was clear, polite, and resolved the issue without further back and forth.

Overall, my experience with Flipster’s customer support was mostly positive. While the live chat couldn’t directly answer more complex questions, it was capable of handling common issues that users might encounter. Email support was effective for the more complicated inquiries, but it tended to have longer response times.
