The US Dollar Index rose slightly during the course the day on Thursday, but you have to keep in mind that the Americans were away at the Thanksgiving holiday, so having said that it’s a bit difficult to get too excited about the move. Ultimately though, we recognize that the US can dollar Index is trying to build up enough momentum to break out to the upside and clear the 100 handle for the longer-term move. Pullbacks should continue to be buying opportunities, and therefore this is essentially a “buy only” market.
