Argentina Industrial Production

Argentina's industrial production rose by 9.3% year-on-year in July 2025, a significant increase from 6% in the previous month. The growth was primarily driven by expansion in various sectors, including food and beverages (4%), tobacco (31.3%), textiles (2.8%), clothing and footwear (3.8%), wood, paper, edition, and publishing (14.4%), oil refining, coke, and nuclear fuel (5.7%), chemical products and substances (2.7%), rubber and plastic products (10.3%), non-metallic mineral products (19.7%), basic metallic industries (7.1%), machinery and equipment (17.3%), vehicles and vehicle parts (29%), and furniture and other manufacturing (38.2%). In contrast, the metal products sector contracted by 5.8%.
