The Central Bank of Armenia held its benchmark interest rate steady at 6.75% during its August 2025 meeting. The deposit and lending rates were also left unchanged at 5.25% and 8.25%, respectively. The decision followed a slowdown in the country’s annual headline inflation, which eased to 3.9% in June from 4.3% in May.
