Mexico’s car exports surged 14% year-on-year in June 2025 to 331,517 units, rebounding from a 2.9% drop in May. The rise was led by strong growth from General Motors (+56.4%), Nissan (+27.1%), and KIA (+20.7%). Other major gains came from BMW (+15.5%), Toyota (+15%), Mercedes-Benz (+14.5%), Volkswagen (+9.5%), and Ford (+9.2%). In contrast, shipments declined for Honda (-23.9%), Stellantis (-23.2%), Mazda (-20.2%), and Audi (-6.5%). Despite the June rebound, exports in the first half of 2025 fell 2.8% to 1.67 million units. The US remained the top market, absorbing 79.7% of total exports.
