Tunisia's annual inflation rate eased to 5.2% in August 2025, the lowest since May 2021, down from 5.3% in July. The slowdown was driven by softer price increases in clothing and footwear (8.9% vs. 9.1%), furnishings and household equipment (5% vs. 5.2%), and recreation and culture (5.4% vs. 5.9%), while food and non-alcoholic beverages held steady at 5.9%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3% in August, matching July’s pace.
