Tunisia's inflation rate fell to 4.9% in October 2025 from 5% in the prior month, marking the fourth consecutive month of slowing price growth. It was the softest reading since March 2021, mainly due to slower increases in prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (5.6% vs 5.7% in September); restaurants, cafes & hotels (7.5% vs 10.1%); transportation (3% vs 3.1%); education (5.5% vs 5.6%) and recreation & culture (4.5% vs 4.6%). By contrast, prices rose faster for miscellaneous goods & services (5.9% vs 5.5%) and clothing & footwear (9.1% vs 8.9%). On a monthly basis, the CPI rose by 0.7%, after a 0.6% increase in the previous month.
