Softer increases were seen in prices of restaurants & hotels (6.2% vs 7.5% in October); miscellaneous goods & services (5.8% vs 5.9%); furnishings & household equipment (4.8% vs 4.9%); recreation & culture (4.4% vs 4.5%) and transportation (2.9% vs 3%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices edged up by 0.1% in November, slowing from a 0.7% increase in the prior month.
