Canadian Building Permits for March will be available at 12:30 PM GMT. The number of permits slipped in February, partially reversing a 5.8% gain the previous month.
US JOLTS Job Openings for March are out at 2. The labour sector has consistently been a steady performer, but February data still surprised on the upside as the number of job openings hit an 8-month high.
There’s little on the schedule until 1:30 AM, when the Chinese Consumer and Producer Price Indices for April are released. Consumer prices remained subdued in March, but producer prices did record a notable growth.
And Japanese Preliminary Leading Index for March is released at 5. The Index saw little change in February, and it remains close to the 19-month high reached in January.
