Japanese financial services giant Nomura has once again been ranked the # 1 leading source of Foreign Exchange Research in the Institutional Investor

Japanese financial services giant Nomura has once again been ranked the # 1 leading source of Foreign Exchange Research in the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research poll for 2014. This is the fourth consecutive year it has topped the rankings.

The company also performed strongly in all Securitized Products classifications, remaining among the top-three firms in four categories, such as # 2 for the fourth successive year in the Agency Structured Products Strategy as well as Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities Strategy categories, which improved on its previous ranking. Nomura was also ranked #2 in the Technical Analysis category.

Nomura’s rankings for 2014 summarized as follows;

No. 1 Foreign Exchange (was also No. 1 in 2011, 2012 and 2013).

No. 1 Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities Strategy /Non-agency (was No. 3 in 2013)

No. 2 Technical Analysis (was No. 2 in 2013)

No. 2 Agency-Structured Products Strategy (was No. 2 in 2011, 2012 and 2013)

No.2 Residential Mortgage-Backed Securities Strategy/Agency (was No. in 2011, 2012 and 2013)

No. 2 Prepayments Strategy (was No. 2 in 2012 and 2013)

In separate news, Turkish broker ALB Menkul Degerler has opted for ClearVision, which is designed by CFH Clearing as it seeks to expand its operations. It cited the ClearVision’s sophisticated risk management tools and superior interface for its decision.
