Alt coins continue to be very noisy, as they of course march in lockstep with the larger coins such as Ethereum and Bitcoin. As those markets rally during early Monday trading, alt coins also got a bit of a boost.

BTG/USD

The Bitcoin Gold markets rallied a bit during the trading session on Monday, gaining almost 5% as I record this. However, we are approaching the vinyl $60 level, an area that was previous support. There is a lot of noise between there and $68, so I would not be jumping into this market quite yet. I believe that eventually we will roll over, but if we were to break above the $68 level, then obviously I would have to rethink everything. A breakdown below $55 would be very negative for Bitcoin Gold.

DASH/USD

DASH traders were bullish during the session on Monday as well, reaching towards the $400 level. This is an area that has been support in the past, so it makes sense that it could be resistance now. Currently, we are trying to break above there, but I see a wave of noise to the $435 level. It’s not until we clear that area that I think that the buyers will have made a significant stand. However, I’m not interested in shorting DAX currently, I think there is enough support underneath to keep this sideways at least, if not eventually grinding above that resistance.

XMR/USD

Monero traders were bullish as well, gaining 4.25% by the time the Americans woke up. It looks as if the market is trying to challenge the $225 level above. If we can break that level, then we are free to go to at least the $240 level next, where there is the previous support from a few days back. Otherwise, I think $200 offer support underneath.
