FTSE 100 daily chart, December 07, 2016

The FTSE 100 fell at the open on Tuesday and then turned around to form a hammer. It looks as if we’re going to test the 6800 region again, and if we can continue to grind higher ethic we will eventually reach 7000. Regardless, I don’t have any interest in selling so I think sooner or later the buyers will get aggressive enough to send this market higher. The question at that point is going to be whether or not you are patient enough to hang onto that move. I have more interest in other indices around the world, but the FTSE 100 should continue to be positive over the longer term.
