The FTSE 100 Index futures attempted to break above the 6000 level over the last five sessions, but failed as you can see by the shooting star on the chart. This shooting star could be the beginning of a significant pullback, but we feel that the bottom of the previous weeks candle should be cleared in order to be a little bit more confident about shorting. However, if we do get that move, we are more than willing to start doing so. On the other side of that trade, if we managed to break above the shooting star high of this previous week, this is a very bullish sign and we would be buying this market.
