The FTSE 100 gapped lower at the open on Monday, testing the 7400 level. This would have been part of the “risk off” trade that had been going on during the session after the North Koreans tested a nuclear bomb. However, I think this is a short-term phenomenon, and I believe it’s only a matter of time before we go higher. If we can stay above the 7400 level, I believe that the buyers will eventually come back. If we break down below though, then I think we may have to go looking towards the 7350 handle for buyers to return.
