Natural gas markets have shown themselves to be explosive yet again, as natural gas has reached towards the $5.75 level.

Natural Gas Price Forecast – Natural Gas Shoot Straight Up In The Air

In this article:

Natural gas markets have gapped higher to kick off the trading session on Monday, as we continue to see a lot of bullish pressure, perhaps reaching towards the $6.00 level. At this point, the market is likely to continue seeing a lot of interest paid attention to it, mainly due to the fact that there is a massive amount of demand for natural gas and energy in general. We have bounced from the 50 day EMA, to continue the overall bullish attitude. I do think that we eventually hit the highs again, but it might be noisy between now and then and therefore you have to be a bit cautious about your position sizing.

If we were to turn around a break down below the most recent action at the 50 day EMA, then it is likely that we would fall apart and go looking towards the $4.50 level, possibly even the 200 day EMA underneath which is sitting at roughly $4.00 as well. All things being equal, this is a market that continues to see demand and of course the fact that the temperatures are getting ready to drop will probably come back into play as well, sending the natural gas markets much higher.

We are in an uptrend, and therefore it is likely that we continue to be so. At this point, buying on the dips continues to make quite a bit of sense, and I do not see it into the uptrend anytime soon. Momentum has picked up quite drastically, and therefore it is likely that we will continue to see plenty of impulsive and “FOMO buying” as well.
