The Nikkei 225 had a fairly calm session on Wednesday, as we continue to see quite a bit of strength underlying the index. Because of this, it’s likely that we will reach the ¥18,000 level given enough time but I also think that the market is a bit overextended. There should be plenty of support just below, and with that being the case, I think that the ¥17,500 level will act as a bit of a “floor” in this market. I have no interest in selling the Nikkei 225, it is a very strong index overall.
