Silver has broken above the $24 level, showing signs of strength again. Keep in mind that silver is an industrial metal, so that’s something to pay attention to.

Silver Markets Technical Analysis

Silver has broken higher again during the trading session on Tuesday, to break above the $24 level, showing signs of strength again. At this point, I think the market is trying to grind its way to the $25 level, but I don’t know that is going to get there easily. Quite frankly, the market looks a bit tired at this point and I would anticipate a little bit of a pullback. That pullback should be a buying opportunity though, and I’m particularly keen on buying silver near the $23 level, and then again at the 50-Day EMA.

That being said, it is the middle of the holiday season and therefore it’s difficult to get overly excited about spending money on anything or investing in anything, due to the fact that they simply will not have a lot of liquidity. The markets could be rather erratic but go nowhere at the same time. Silver is particularly volatile to say the least, so I do think that it’s a situation where you need to be particularly careful in this market.

Quite frankly, I’d love to see some type of massive selloff in thin markets that I can take advantage of because I do believe that although silver is an industrial metal and that part of it will not work going forward, the reality is that a lot of people were out there trying to protect their wealth, and silver is just another way to do it. Ultimately, I am a buyer of dips, but I haven’t seen one recently that has caught my attention that was worth putting a lot of money into.
