Latest Updates
The annual inflation rate in Estonia slowed to 5.2% in September 2025, from a nearly two-year high of 6.1% in the previous month. The latest figure marked the lowest reading since June, mainly due to softer price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (7.7% vs 9.2% in August), recreation and entertainment (6.4% vs 8.2%), and education (1.1% vs 2.7%). Additionally, costs declined at a faster pace for clothing and footwear (-4.5% vs -1.8%). On the other hand, inflation increased further for housing (2.5% vs 1.5%) and miscellaneous goods and services (5% vs 4.2%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased by 1.1% in September, marking the first decline in six months, reversing a 1% gain in the preceding period.
