Russian Federation Government Budget Value

The Russian Federal Government posted a budget gap of RUB 4.3 trillion in the January-November period of 2025, or 2% of the GDP, up from RUB 0.4 trillion during the same period in 2024, according to preliminary data from the Finance Ministry. The figure remained below the government’s new 2025 target of 2.6% of GDP. Total government spending surged by 13.9% year-on-year to RUB 37.2 trillion, while revenues increased at a much slower 0.7% to RUB 32.9 trillion.
