The economic agenda for the day includes the PMI data from France, Germany, EU and the US. Though not very important, these are used to gauge the strength of the manufacturing sector in each of these economies. Then we have the Public sector borrowing data from the UK during the course of the London session.
Moving on, we have the December existing home sales data from the US closer to the NY session where the market will look for continuing good data from the US which will make the job of the Fed in hiking rates easier. This is what should concern the market the most as the Fed had made it very clear that incoming data would be key for the rate hike decision in the coming months.
