The Dow Jones 30 initially went sideways, but then rallied significantly during the session on Thursday, breaking out to a fresh, new high. I believe that short-term pullbacks continue to be buying opportunities, and that it’s only a matter of time before the buyers return on dips. I like this market alive, and therefore I am willing to buy and hold, and beyond that, I’m willing to add to these positions as we go forward.
The NASDAQ 100 went sideways initially during the session, and then fell significantly. However, we are starting to see signs of support underneath, and I think it’s only a matter of time before we go to the 6000 level again. If we can break above the 6000 level on a daily close, that’s a buy-and-hold signal. Until then, buying on dips continues to work.
