The FTSE fell significantly during the day on Thursday as the Bank of England suggested that interest rates are going to rise relatively soon. That being the case, the British pound exploded in value, and this of course makes English exports more expensive, creating a drag on companies in the export heavy FTSE 100. Because of this, I believe that the market could continue to sell off, and therefore I would be a bit hesitant to buy anytime soon. Because of this, I think that rallies are to be sold, and that perhaps the FTSE 100 has turned a major corner.
