Analysis and Recommendations:

Natural Gas dipped another 14 points on the US holiday with this week’s official inventory delayed until Friday. Natural gas prices are still trading below their 20 and 100 day moving average telling you that the short-term trend is lower as many of the commodity markets were lower once again today due to a strong U.S dollar but natural gas is a domestic product which is not influenced by the dollar but by weather conditions as we are starting to enter the winter months, but continue to place your stop at the proper level and if we are stopped out look at other markets that are beginning to trend as this trade worked very well.

Natural-gas prices rose Tuesday as traders continue to hope for a surge of winter demand despite largely mild weather forecasts.

Prices for the front-month December contract settled up two cents, or 0.8%, at $2.32 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gas has posted gains in four of five sessions, though that one losing session was large enough to keep gains at just 3% during the span.

Natural Gas Weekly Weather Outlook

November 6-12th: A weather system will track across the central US today with widespread showers, weakening the warm ridge of high pressure over the eastern US. The East Coast will see one more warm day with highs into the lower 70s into major NE cities, with 80s over the Southeast. As the central US system tracks eastward, it will open the door for cooler Canadian air into the Midwest and Northeast this weekend. However, warming will follow into the East next week as another Pacific storm with valley rains and mountain snows hits the West. Temperatures will cool over the eastern US late next week as the western US weather system tracks across the country. Overall, national nat gas demand will be MODERATE Friday-Sunday, then back to LOW early next week.
