    Is Toobit Right for You?

Traders have different needs: some prefer simple apps for quick trades, while others seek advanced tools like leverage or social trading. We classify traders into seven main groups and evaluate how well each exchange meets their specific requirements.

Our testing showed that Toobit is unsuitable for margin trading and social trading, though it can be a good choice for other traders. Here’s our verdict:

Toobit is a perfect match for auto and copy traders. While it doesn’t support social trading, it features a bot marketplace with various strategies and a Futures Grid with both AI-driven and manual setup options.

Copy trading is well developed, allowing users to choose traders based on ROI, win rate, PnL, and follower performance.

    Pros
    • 40 zero-slippage copy trading pairs
    • Futures bot trading with AI and manual setup
    • Wide selection of pro traders for copy trading
    • Advanced filters like ROI, win rate, and PnL
    Cons
    • No social trading

Toobit is a perfect match for traders focused on perpetual futures. While it does not support margin or options trading, it offers a robust futures environment with TradingView integration, a detailed order book, and leverage up to 200x.

There’s also a lite version of the interface for beginners, along with demo trading and bot support. Still, platforms like Binance or Bybit offer broader derivatives options for all experience levels.

    Pros
    • Perpetual futures with up to 200x leverage
    • 380+ cryptocurrencies and 600+ trading pairs
    • Strong liquidity
    • TradingView integration and detailed order book
    • Lite version of the futures trading interface
    Cons
    • No margin or options trading
    • No fiat-to-crypto support
    • No fiat off-ramps and launchpads

Toobit is a perfect match for DCA investors. It offers a futures-based DCA trading tool that lets users set custom conditions, margin, and cycle strategies, similar to bot trading. It allows batch entries to help lower average costs and supports over 380+ cryptocurrencies.

However, this setup is more complex than traditional DCA tools like recurring buys. It may not be ideal for beginners, while platforms like Luno offer simpler alternatives.

    Pros
    • Futures DCA tool with custom settings
    • Batch entries to manage cost
    • AI trading strategy support
    • 380+ cryptocurrencies available
    Cons
    • More complex than standard DCA tools
    • May not be suitable for beginners

Toobit is an acceptable choice for casual traders but has several limitations. The platform supports 380+ cryptocurrencies and 600+ trading pairs, and offers 0.075% maker / 0.1% taker spot trading fees.

You can buy crypto with fiat, but storing fiat or selling crypto isn’t supported. While the interface is well-organized and includes TradingView, there’s no simplified mode for beginners.

    Pros
    • 380+ cryptocurrencies and 600+ trading pairs
    • 2FA and multi-biometric authentication are available
    • No history of hacks
    • Demo Mode
    • Copy Trading
    Cons
    • Fiat withdrawals are not available
    • Customer support can be slow and ineffective – no email response, long chat wait
    • No basic mode for beginners

Toobit is a perfect choice for day traders looking for speed and advanced tools. It supports spot and perpetual futures trading with up to 200x leverage, over 380 cryptocurrencies, and more than 600 trading pairs. The platform features fast execution, real-time data, TradingView integration, and a strong liquidity rating.

Toobit includes standard security features like 2FA and biometric login. However, the lack of margin or options trading and poor customer support may be limiting for some.

    Pros
    • 300+ cryptocurrencies and 600+ trading pairs
    • Decent cybersecurity measures like 2FA and MBA
    • Advanced charting tools like TradingView
    • Perpetual futures with up to 200x leverage
    • Trading bots and API integration
    Cons
    • Customer support can be slow and ineffective – no email response, long chat wait
    • No margin or options trading
    • No fiat-to-crypto trading options

Toobit is an acceptable choice for algorithmic traders. It offers API access, supports high-frequency trading, and provides detailed market data and analytics. With a high liquidity rating, trade execution is fast and efficient.

However, it lacks a sandbox environment for testing, a backtesting tool for strategies, and dedicated API support. Other platforms like Binance offer more complete tools for algo trading.

    Pros
    • API access for trading integrations
    • Strong liquidity
    • Access to detailed market data
    Cons
    • No sandbox environment
    • No backtesting tools

    Toobit’s Background

Toobit is a centralized crypto exchange headquartered in George Town, Cayman Islands. It was founded by a group of former Huobi (HTX) employees. However, their names have not been disclosed. The exchange is operated by a global team of tech veterans, industry leaders, and security specialists.

    Security and Transparency

Based on our research, Toobit covers essential security needs but falls behind industry leaders in transparency and protection.

🛡️ Has a bug bounty program, two-factor authentication, and multi-biometric login

📊 No major hacks reported and decent ratings from third-party sources

✅ Proof of Reserves available for BTC, USDT, USDC, and ETH, totaling $103 million and regularly audited.

🔒Both Cold wallet & hot wallet storage

    On the downside:

🚫No self-custody wallet connection, and no third-party insurance for cash deposits

    Toobit Security Overview Details
Proof of Reserves (PoR) BTC (67.31%), USDC (20.42%), USDT (8.17%), ETH (4.11%)
    Insurance No coverage
KYC Verification Mandatory tiered KYC system
Security Audits Regular audits from Hacken, Beosin, and Elliptic
Account Security Support for 2FA (Google Authenticator and SMS) and Support for MBA (Fingerprint scanning & Face ID)

Proof of Reserves & Deposit Insurance: Toobit has proof of reserves that cover BTC, USDC, USDT, and ETH. A total of $103 million is available in their proof of reserves, which is audited regularly. However, there’s no third-party deposit insurance. While the lack of third-party insurance is not a major issue, it helps add more security to users’ funds in case of unforeseen events.

Cybersecurity Measures: Toobit’s cybersecurity measures are standard, including two-factor authentication like Google Authenticator and multi-biometric authentication. I used the Google Authenticator and linked my phone number. Assuming there’s any important activity, Toobit sent me an SMS about what happened to my account. For example, they would send an SMS assuming there’s a deposit or withdrawal.

    Toobit Cybersecurity Measures
    Toobit Cybersecurity Measures

General Reliability: Toobit has an active bug bounty program focused on its API and software, with rewards ranging from $50 to $10,000. This is higher than many exchanges like Tapbit, which either lack a program or cap rewards at $5,000.

Proof of Organization & Communication Structure: Toobit is headquartered in George Town, Cayman Islands. Their “Risk & Compliance Disclosure” page shows a Money Services Business (MSB) license in the U.S. They actively use social media platforms like X, Discord, YouTube, Telegram, LinkedIn, and Reddit.

Verified Trusted Scores: Toobit’s ratings are decent, often highlighting its strong cybersecurity, bug bounty program, and clean hack record. However, top exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, and Bybit have stronger rankings, mainly due to better transparency.

    Know Your Customer (KYC)

    Toobit offers two KYC levels:

    • Basic Verification: Requires only your name and country. It allows withdrawals of up to 5 BTC per 24 hours.
    • Advanced Verification: Requires a photo ID and a selfie. This increases the withdrawal limit to 50 BTC per 24 hours.

KYC is not mandatory on Toobit. The basic verification process is quick and usually approved within minutes. If your country is supported, you just need to enter your name and select your country. However, my experience with advanced verification was less smooth; I had to try several times before it was finally approved.

Is Toobit Safe to Trade With?

Based on my in-depth research, Toobit offers a decent level of security, but its overall transparency is lacking. It provides essential protections such as PoR and 2FA, but does not offer third-party deposit insurance.

The platform hasn’t experienced any major security breaches (since its foundation in 2022), and holds respectable ratings from independent sources. Its bug bounty program is almost inactive, with only $250 paid out so far, indicating limited engagement.

I also found the KYC process more frustrating than on most other exchanges, especially at the advanced level, which required multiple attempts to complete successfully.

    Trading Experience

Toobit offers a solid trading experience, but the interface isn’t as smooth, fast, and intuitive as leading platforms.

    Trading Test

For our trading test, we signed up on Toobit, completed KYC, deposited and withdrew funds, and explored various trading pairs and conversions. We also evaluated fees to give a clear, hands-on view of Toobit’s usability, features, and costs. Here’s our analysis:

Step 1: Setting Up and Funding Your Account

Toobit offers several convenient sign-up options:

    • Email
    • Google account
    • Apple account
    • Telegram

I chose to sign up using my Google account.

For KYC verification, I completed the basic level by providing my email and country of residence. The advanced level requires a government-issued ID and a selfie. It took several attempts before my verification was approved.

I had to take a photo of myself holding my ID, along with a handwritten note that included the word “Toobit” and the date of the KYC application. Approval took approximately three hours.

    Desktop Version

Toobit aims to serve both beginners and experienced traders, but its design leans more toward advanced users due to the lack of a basic or lite version. The interface is clean and functional, though some icons take a few seconds to load.

    Trade Navigation

Toobit’s interface makes it easy to place market, limit, and conditional orders. The trading screen combines key elements like the order book, market depth, and charts in one view. It offers original, TradingView, and depth charts, something not all competitors like BYDFi or Tapbit provide.

Small touches, like viewing trade history and open orders directly at the bottom of the screen, add convenience. On exchanges like P2B, you need to leave the main trading view to access this information.

    Withdrawal Navigation

Toobit supports crypto withdrawals only, with no option to sell crypto directly. You can choose between on-chain or internal transfers. Internal transfers, which allow you to send crypto to another Toobit account, are free of charge.

The withdrawal feature is available on the asset page and follows a step-by-step process for ease of use. Security tools like whitelists, QR codes, and trusted address lists add extra transaction protection.

    Demo Trading

Toobit offers 10 million USDT for demo trading, simulating a realistic futures trading environment for practice and strategy testing.

    Auto Trading

Toobit offers several automated trading tools, including Futures Grid, DCA Martingale, and a trading bot marketplace. These tools support different strategies and can help improve trading efficiency.

I tested the Grid Trading bot in live market conditions. It was easy to set up: I selected a long position with 5x leverage and used the geometric grid mode, which automatically adjusts grid levels based on price movement.

You can also lower the leverage to 1x if you prefer a more conservative approach. Like the DCA bot, there’s no built-in simulation or testing environment, so it’s best to monitor closely or start small. Still, the setup is beginner-friendly, even if you’re new to the platform.

    Copy Trading

I also tested Copy Trading on Toobit. The setup was quick, and you can filter traders by ROI, AUM, and win rate. There are two copy modes: Fixed Amount and Fixed Ratio. I chose Fixed Amount, which allowed me to control exactly how much to invest per trade, rather than mirroring the trader’s position size.

One standout feature was “Copy with 0 Slippage”, which ensures your trades are executed at the same price as the trader’s. Toobit does charge a small price guarantee fee for this.

It was great to see 387 trading pairs available for copy trading. Overall, the feature felt beginner-friendly.

    Toobit Staking Services

Toobit’s Earn section lets you stake crypto for stable returns, but it’s tucked away under “More,” which isn’t obvious for new users. Once you find it, you’ll see a clean interface offering both fixed and flexible options alongside clear terms and conditions.

Supported assets include USDT, ETH, SOL, TON, and DOGE. Fixed-term products lock funds for seven days at a 100% APR, while flexible plans (including DOGE) have variable APRs from 5% to 20% and no mandatory lock-up. Interest for fixed terms pays out at the end, and flexible earnings accrue daily: withdraw anytime with prorated interest.

The minimum stake is 1 USDT, and most pools cap individual allocations (e.g., 500 USDT for certain fixed rounds). There are no explicit staking fees, but redeeming early from a fixed term results in a loss of accrued APR.

Compared to other platforms, Toobit’s 1 USDT entry is very accessible, and its 100% APR on a short, seven-day term is competitive, provided you can grab a spot before capacity fills. Just be prepared for slippage if markets move and know that, like any staking service, there’s no guarantee against principal loss.

Toobit Staking Services Toobit’s Earn section lets you stake crypto for stable returns, but it’s tucked away under “More,
    Toobit Staking ServicesAPI Features

Toobit provides a robust API system with customizable key permissions. By default, API keys are set to “Enable Reading” for security. Each key can be configured to access specific endpoints like trading or account management, allowing tailored control.

A Spot account is created by default, and all API interactions use the secure X-BB-APIKEY header. The system also supports case-sensitive API and secret keys, making it well-suited for developers and automated trading setups.

    Toobit Mobile App

Toobit’s mobile app, available on both Android and iOS, combines trading and wallet features in one place. The interface is simple and functional, with access to basic trading tools and straightforward navigation.

    Toobit Mobile App Core Features

    • Coin Search: Toobit allows users to search for tokens with clear labels, such as spot or futures. The search layout is organized and returns more results than platforms like BYDFi or Tapbit.
    • Trading Features: The app supports market, limit, and trigger orders, offering functionality similar to the desktop version.
    • Market Insights: This section, located at the bottom of the home page, allows users to view market trends, new listings, top gainers and losers, and indicators like the fear and greed index.
    • Watchlist Management: Users can add coins to a watchlist by clicking the star icon in search results or within the Market Insights section. The list is accessible in the “Markets” tab.
    • Withdrawal Simplicity: Withdrawals follow a three-step process: select the coin, enter details, and submit.
    • Alerts and Notifications: Notifications are available for price movements, account activity, and security events such as login attempts, withdrawal requests, and incorrect deposit addresses.
    • Portfolio Overview: The dashboard provides a centralized view to monitor assets and track historical performance.

My Key Takeaways After Testing Toobit

Toobit’s trading features are its strongest asset, especially for advanced users focused on bots, API trading, and derivatives.

High liquidity and thoughtful interface details enhance the overall trading experience.

    Fees

I found Toobit’s trading fees competitive and flexible, but its non-trading options are very limited.

💱 Spot Trading: Starts at 0.075% maker / 0.1% taker, with discounts based on trading volume

📈 Perpetual Contracts: Starts at 0.02% maker / 0.06% taker, also decreases with volume

    Spot Maker/Taker Fees

In our review of spot fees, we examine spot fees across three distinct tiers, focusing on fees for different trading volumes. We emphasize the essentials and potential savings through native tokens and various discount schemes. Our unique methodology offers a clear view of fee structures and how they benefit traders at all levels.

The first tier typically represents casual traders, as they usually don’t trade more than $10,000 per month, while the higher tiers often relate to more advanced traders. Using this method, we categorize users by their trading style and the amount they spend on Toobit.

Additionally, we compare these fees with industry standards to provide a thorough perspective on Toobit’s affordability.

Pricing tier Maker/Taker Fee  Maker/Taker (Discounted)  Industry Average
    Up to $10K 0.075%/0.1% 0.075%/0.1% 0.41% / 0.51%
    Up to $100K 0.075%/0.1% 0.07%/0.09% 0.33% / 0.37%
    Up to $500K 0.075%/0.1% 0.06%/0.08% 0.25% / 0.29%

Toobit’s fees are similar to what most exchanges offer and are acceptable for day-to-day trading. However, casual traders with lower volumes may prefer platforms like MEXC with 0% fees.

    Deposit Fees

Toobit accepts fiat deposits only through third-party payment providers. Compared to many other exchanges, its deposit fees are very high.

    Deposit Method Fee
    ADVCASH (Volet)  4.39%
    Simplex 5.25%
    Crypto  Free

Binance and Coinbase offer free ACH deposits and low-fee SEPA/SWIFT options. Even exchanges like BYDFi, which also use third-party providers, have lower fees.

    Withdrawal Fees

After using the exchange, I found that even third-party payment providers only support buying crypto – you can’t use them to sell your assets.

Withdrawal fees depend on the blockchain network. For example, withdrawing USDT on the TRX network costs around $0.30, while the same transfer on Ethereum costs about $7.30.

I would’ve preferred if Toobit offered free withdrawal options like ACH for more flexibility and lower costs.

    Leverage and Futures Trading Fees

Toobit offers only perpetual futures trading, with fees of 0.02% for makers and 0.06% for takers on USDT-M contracts. The fees are similar to those on exchanges like Tapbit and BYDFi and decrease with higher trading volumes, making Toobit a better option for high-volume futures traders.

    Futures fees
    Futures fees

    Fee Discounts

Toobit does not offer exclusive fee discounts. Unlike exchanges like Bitget (BGB) and Binance (BNB), it lacks a native token for fee reductions.

    Are Toobit’s Fees Competitive?

In my opinion, Toobit’s trading fees are competitive, but its non-trading fees are a major drawback.

    • Spot Trading: Fees decrease with higher volumes, which is a plus for active traders.
    • Perpetual Contracts: Maker fee of 0.02% and taker fee of 0.06%, fair even for casual traders.
    • Non-Trading Fees: Buying crypto through third-party providers can cost up to 5.25%, which I find very expensive.

Fees may vary, so it’s best to check Toobit’s official website for the latest updates.

    Token Listing

The token listing process on Toobit is simple, but the platform doesn’t offer a launchpad, which is a major downside compared to exchanges like Binance and Bybit.

Without a launchpad, there’s no way to track or discover upcoming token launches, which means traders may miss out on early-stage projects. For example, many users profited from the Notcoin launch on Binance, thanks to its launchpad feature.

Access to Stablecoins and Fiat-to-Crypto Trading

Toobit provides access to popular stablecoins, including:

    • USDT
    • USDC

However, there are no fiat-to-crypto options. Availability may vary by country, so users should check local regulations and supported currencies.

Toobit offers access to popular stablecoins like USDT and USDC, but there are no fiat-to-crypto options. These are not fiat, but they can serve as alternatives to USD, EURO, and other fiat options. Note that USDT and USDC are the only stablecoins that are available. Availability may vary by country, so users should check local regulations and supported currencies.

    Exchange Liquidity

Toobit has better exchange liquidity than several of the top crypto exchanges. With a rating of 857 from CoinMarketCap (May, 2025), it enables fast trade execution. In comparison, Toobit outperforms OKX, Bybit, BYDFI, P2B, Gate.io, and others in terms of exchange liquidity.

    Deposits and Withdrawals

Toobit has limited fiat options and charges high fees for buying crypto, making it inconvenient.

    • High minimum deposit: $55.

    • Only crypto withdrawals are supported.

    Toobit Deposit Options

The only way to buy crypto with fiat on Toobit is through third-party providers like Simplex and Volet. In my opinion, this is highly inconvenient due to high fees and high minimum deposit requirements.

Available Payment Methods Accepted Fiats Fee Minimum Fiat Deposit
Simplex  USD, EUR, CAD, AUD  5.25% $55
ADVCASH (Volet)  USD, EUR, CAD, AUD  4.39% $55

Note that deposit options can vary significantly from region to region. Always check the exchange’s official site for the most accurate and region-specific deposit information.

    Toobit Withdrawal Methods

At Toobit, only crypto withdrawals are supported, so you can’t withdraw fiat currency directly to your bank account. Instead, you’ll need to transfer your crypto to another wallet, whether it’s self-custodial, another exchange, or a third party.

This puts Toobit at a disadvantage compared to platforms like Binance, OKX, or Kraken, which allow fiat withdrawals via bank transfers, cards, or local payment methods. For example, Luno lets users transfer Litecoin from their wallet directly to a bank account.

As for fees, crypto withdrawal costs on Toobit depend on the asset and network used.

    Crypto Withdrawal Fees on Toobit

Asset Network Fee (Unit) Fee (USD, approx)
    ETH Ethereum 0.005 ETH $15
    ETH Optimism 0.0001 ETH $0.30
    ETH Arbitrum 0.0008 ETH $2.40
    ETH BSC 0.005 ETH $1.60
    ETH Base 0.032 ETH $0.95
    USDT Ethereum 10 USDT $7
USDT TRON (TRX) 10 USDT $1
    USDT BSC 10 USDT $0.30
    USDT Polygon 10 USDT $0.14
    BTC Bitcoin 0.0001 BTC $6
    USDC Ethereum 10 USDC $10
    USDC BSC 10 USDC $1.06

    Toobit Withdrawal Limits

The withdrawal limit depends on the verification level.

Verification Level Max Single Withdrawal Max Orders (24h) Daily Limit 30-Day Limit
No KYC Needed 2 BTC 5 orders 5 BTC 30 BTC
Basic KYC Check 2 BTC 5 orders 5 BTC 30 BTC
Full KYC Verification 50 BTC Unlimited 50 BTC Unlimited

Toobit’s withdrawal limits are significantly higher than those of exchanges like BYDFi, which offers 5 BTC for verified users.

    Toobit Customer Support Test

To evaluate the quality of customer service for diverse user needs, we created a unique trading test. We personally contact support using all available methods and present hypothetical problems that users might face. Our evaluation concentrates on how quickly they respond, the quality of the help provided, and whether we can talk to a real person rather than a bot. This method effectively measures the capability of customer support to assist both active traders and casual investors.

    Toobit Chatbot Support Test

I tested Toobit’s chatbot, which handled only basic questions like account and withdrawal info. While there’s an option to connect with a live agent, the experience was frustrating: I waited over 2 hours in a queue of 61 people. In contrast, it took less than 2 minutes to reach an agent on Tapbit and BYDFi.

When I finally connected, the agent couldn’t answer my questions correctly. Overall, I found Toobit’s live chat support inconsistent.

    Toobit email support test

I also tested their email support by asking about proof of reserves and insurance. Even after a month, I didn’t receive a response. After following up with them, there was no response either.
