Traders have different needs: some prefer simple apps for quick trades, while others seek advanced tools like leverage or social trading. We classify traders into seven main groups and evaluate how well each exchange meets their specific requirements.
Our testing showed that Woo X is not suitable for DCA investors or those using trading bots, as it lacks the necessary features to support a smooth experience. However, it may still appeal to other types of traders. Here’s our verdict:
WOO X is a perfect match for social and copy traders, though it doesn’t support automated bot trading.
The platform features a dedicated social trading section focused on copying trading strategies. Beginners can browse and follow top-performing traders based on ROI, strategy, and growth rate. A public leaderboard highlights the most and least profitable traders, making it easier to choose who to copy. WOO X also runs a rewards program where successful traders can earn up to a $100,000 seed fund.
WOO X is a perfect match for margin and derivatives traders. It offers up to 100x leverage for futures and 10x for margin trading. While some competitors like BYDFi and Tapbit offer up to 200x, WOO X still holds strong in terms of execution and reliability.
The platform doesn’t provide immediate training resources like YouTube tutorials, which are available on exchanges like P2B. Still, it’s well-suited for intermediate and experienced traders.
WOO X is perfect match for day traders, offering spot, futures, and margin trading with over 283 pairs and low spot fees (0.08% maker / 0.1% taker).
The platform includes strong security features like 2FA, MBA, proof of reserves, and a bug bounty program. It also provides advanced tools such as TradingView charts, a detailed order book, and various conditional orders like limit, stop-limit, and trailing stop.
WOO X is a perfect match for algorithmic traders. It supports API integration with access to detailed trading data and analytics, and is compatible with high-frequency trading. Trade execution is fast, backed by a high liquidity score.
The platform includes a personal dashboard for monitoring API activity and viewing technical documentation. However, it lacks a sandbox environment for testing and doesn’t support backtesting strategies.
Overall, WOO X is suitable if your main goal is to access trading data, but exchanges like Binance, Deribit, and P2B offer more advanced API features like a sandbox environment and dedicated API support.
WOO X is a perfect match for casual traders. It offers 183+ cryptos and 283+ futures trading pairs, with low trading fees (0.08% maker / 0.1% taker).
However, WOO X does not support direct fiat deposits, withdrawals, or storage. Crypto purchases are only possible through third-party providers like Legend Trading.
WOO X is an acceptable choice for hodlers and position traders. It offers strong security features, including proof of reserves, a bug bounty program, 2FA, and MBA. Users can hold over 183 cryptocurrencies and stake WOO, which currently offers an estimated 3.47% APR. Staking unlocks exclusive perks and allows flexible redemption with a 24-hour unstaking period or instant withdrawal with a 5% fee.
However, WOO X lacks insurance for cash deposits and does not support ACH, SEPA, or credit/debit card transactions. While fiat storage is available, it’s more limited compared to platforms like Binance or Luno.

There’s also a referral program that gives bonuses and trading discounts for inviting others, along with a social trading rewards program where users can earn up to $100K in seed funds.
WOO X is part of the broader WOO ecosystem, which also includes services for staking and decentralized trading.
The network was co-founded in 2019 by Mark Pimentel and Jack Tan, both former Wall Street traders with backgrounds in quantitative and high-frequency trading.
WOO X, the ecosystem’s centralized exchange, launched in 2021 and is registered in Seychelles, which is common among crypto exchanges due to favorable regulations and lower corporate taxes. As a CeFi platform, WOO X uses a Payment for Order Flow (PFOF) model, where liquidity providers pay the exchange to route user orders. This allows for lower trading fees, though it may also influence how orders are execute.
WOO X offers robust security measures comparable to industry-leading exchanges.
🔐 Proof of reserves: ≥100% reserve ratio for BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and BNB
💻 Bug bounty program with rewards up to $5,000
✅ Two-factor authentication (2FA) and biometric account protection
🛡️ No direct hacks reported since launch in 2019
⚠️ No insurance coverage for cash deposits
WOO X Security Overview | Details |
Proof of Reserves (PoR) | ≥100% reserve ratio for BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and BNB |
Insurance | No coverage |
KYC Verification | KYC is mandatory |
Security Audits | Conducted every 15 minutes |
Account Security | Support for 2FA (Google Authenticator) and Support for MBA (Fingerprint scanning & FaceID) |
WOO X updates its Proof of Reserves every 15 minutes for real-time transparency. The latest report shows a reserve ratio of 116.6% with total assets of $128.67M, exceeding liabilities of $ 110.39M. Custody ratio is 83.9% with $92.67M in custodial storage.
Assets diversify across Fireblocks ($83.54M), Cobo Custody ($9.12M), and major exchanges like Binance, OKX, and KuCoin. The Merkle tree system enables users to check their balances securely.
WOO X does not offer deposit insurance for user funds. Although assets are stored using both custodial and non-custodial solutions, users should be aware of the risks involved with both centralized and decentralized exchanges. The Proof of Reserves (PoR) system adds transparency but does not protect against insolvency. While third-party insurance is not common in the crypto industry, it can offer added peace of mind in the event of unexpected losses.
WOO X prioritizes security with two-factor authentication (2FA) and multi-biometric verification, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring verified users access their accounts. In my experience, setting up 2FA was straightforward, and I was able to link both an authenticator app and biometric login without issues. I used Google Authenticator in this case.
WOO X operates a Bug Bounty Program that rewards security researchers for identifying vulnerabilities.
Category A issues (e.g., financial data breaches) can earn up to $5,000, while Category B (partially identifying information) rewards up to $2,000, and Category C (other sensitive data) up to $1,000.
WOO X maintains a strong corporate communication structure across multiple platforms, including Twitter, Telegram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
WOO X has verified trust scores on multiple platforms, indicating good security and reliability. These platforms evaluate factors like cybersecurity practices, regulatory compliance, liquidity, and proof of reserves before assigning scores. The ratings matter because they are based on independent audits.

At WOO X, KYC is mandatory, and you can’t access any features without passing the verification requirements. The exchange has a tiered KYC verification system that determines access levels based on the verification stage. Users start at Level 0 with limited access, which includes no trading or withdrawal capabilities. Higher levels unlock greater withdrawal and fiat purchase limits.
Personally, I completed Level 1 verification, which took just a few minutes with an ID and selfie. This unlocked a 50 BTC per day withdrawal limit and allowed me to buy crypto with fiat up to $ 100,000 per day.
Level | Withdrawal Limit | Buy Crypto with Fiat | Requirements | Verification Time |
Level 0 | Limited access | Not available | Email verification | Instant |
Level 1 | 50 BTC/day | $100K/day | ID & Selfie | A few minutes |
Level 2 | Unlimited | Unlimited | Industry & source of funds, Proof of address | ~5 minutes |
WOO X provides a good level of safety for crypto traders.
WOO X offers a decent trading experience, particularly suited for margin and derivatives traders.

We evaluated the WOO X platform through signing up, KYC verification, logging in, depositing funds, and making withdrawals. We tested trading functionalities by exploring pairs and conversions and assessed fees for transfers and withdrawals. This test enables us to provide an informed review of the exchange’s usability, features, and costs. Here’s our analysis:
First, I created and funded my account on WOO X.
I selected registration via email (you can also choose a social account like Google) and verified my email address.
Then, I logged in and completed Level 1 KYC verification, which took about 10 minutes.
After the KYC, I deposited 0.53 LTC from my Binance account. After six confirmations, the deposit appeared within approximately 4 minutes.
Converted LTC to USDT at market price. The transaction took under 3 seconds, with a 0.04974 USDT fee (0.1% taker fee).
After this conversion, I traded the USDT back to LTC, setting a tight limit order. After about a minute, the order was filled out, and I was charged 0.00053 LTC in fees.
Then I converted USDT back to LTC using a limit order. The order filled in about one minute, with a fee of 0.00053 LTC.
You can transfer these LTC tokens with on-chain withdrawal or internal transfer. I selected on-chain withdrawal since I moved the funds outside WOO X.
Entered my Litecoin wallet address and received a notification of a $0.73 withdrawal fee.
I received the funds in my Binance wallet after about 5 minutes.
WOO X account setup and KYC were quick and easy, though full KYC for basic features felt restrictive. Deposit and trading speeds were good with clear confirmations. Withdrawals were smooth, but the LTC fee was higher than expected.
WOO X doesn’t have pro or basic desktop versions. The trading interface is simple, with sections for futures, spot, and copy trading. Withdrawal is easy and takes less than three steps.
In the wallet section, QR code scans enable secure deposits, along with notifications for wrong address inputs. WOO X supports social account logins like Google. Even new users will find it easy to use.

WOO X offers an advanced trading interface with various order types, including limit, market, stop-limit, OCO, and trailing stop. Users can access spot and futures trading, social trading, and earning opportunities. The platform supports both full and partial TP/SL orders and displays real-time order book data. Additionally, there’s a section where users can search for other crypto trading pairs.
WOO X offers a reliable withdrawal experience, supporting both on-chain withdrawals and internal transfers. Here’s how it works:
Users can initiate a withdrawal by selecting Withdraw in their wallet, entering the recipient’s address, and choosing the appropriate network. The platform supports up to 50 BTC per day in withdrawals, with free daily limits available for users who complete Level 2 KYC.
WOO X Social Trading lets users copy trades from experienced Lead Traders, offering a way to diversify and learn strategies. Users can browse strategies based on 30-day ROI, PnL, drawdown, or Sharpe ratio. Some popular Lead Traders include Crypto Vikings, with a 30-day ROI of 180.61% and 128 copiers, and Bluntz, with over $1.2 million in copier assets and 532 users.
When I tested the feature, I browsed through dozens of strategies with detailed performance metrics, making it easy to choose a trader. The UI was clean, responsive, and allowed quick filtering by risk and returns. I appreciated the transparency compared to other exchanges, though many traders had high drawdowns, which indicates higher risk.
Currently, social trading is moderately active on WOO X, with the top strategies having between 100-500 copiers. Tools like WOO Shield help users manage risks by setting total stop-loss limits, and the unique CounterTrade option lets you take the opposite side of a trader’s strategy to hedge positions.
During testing, I found that WOO X offers strong API support backed by deep liquidity from top exchanges and Kronos’ high-frequency trading strategies. The platform provides two API options:
All requests require authentication.
WOO X applies strict rate limits to maintain stability. Private API calls are limited per account, while public calls are limited by IP. The WebSocket API allows up to 80 connections per account and 1,000 per IP.
With low latency, solid liquidity aggregation, and scalable infrastructure, the API is well-suited for traders and developers building automated strategies. WOO X also offers a private dashboard to monitor API activity.
WOO X offers a staking program that rewards users for holding or staking WOO tokens. The system is tier-based: higher staking amounts unlock better benefits. Users earn daily rewards with a base annual yield, which can be auto-compounded to boost returns.
Additional perks like the Diamond Hands multiplier and Trade Arcade bonuses increase rewards based on trading activity. Higher tiers also include daily free withdrawals, referral bonuses, and reduced trading fees.
A new feature called “My WOO” is coming soon. It will give users more control over how they stake and manage their tokens.
The WOO X mobile app offers services similar to those available on the desktop. It includes both a pro and a basic version, which are unavailable on the desktop. The pro version is designed for experienced traders and provides more trading features and services. In contrast, the basic version caters to beginners and includes fewer features.
The basic version includes three main sections: Home, Swap, and Wallet.
After testing the exchange, I found the desktop version straightforward and efficient. Each section was well-organized, and I didn’t experience glitches when navigating the interface. Trade execution was fast, likely thanks to WOO X’s high liquidity.
There’s no TradingView integration in the basic or pro versions on mobile. However, I did find native trading indicators on the mobile app that aren’t available on desktop. One limitation of both versions is the absence of a search button on the home screen. In contrast, exchanges like Binance include a search function on the home interface, making it easier to find cryptocurrencies and trading features. That said, WOO X does include a search option in the market section.
In my opinion, WOO X offers competitive fees, particularly beneficial for active traders or those staking WOO tokens.
💱 Spot Trading Fees: Maker 0.08%, Taker 0.1%
📈 Futures Trading Fees: Maker 0.02%, Taker 0.05%
⭐ Lower fees available based on trading volume or WOO token staking
💸 Free crypto deposits
We examine spot fees across three tiers, focusing on different trading volumes, potential savings through native tokens, and discount schemes. Our methodology clarifies fee structures and benefits for all trader levels.
The first tier generally represents casual traders who trade less than $10,000 monthly; higher tiers apply to advanced traders. This method categorizes users by trading style and expenditure.
We compare these fees against industry standards to provide insight into each exchange’s affordability.
Pricing tier | Maker/Taker Fee | Maker/Taker (Discounted) | Industry Average |
Up to $10K | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.41% / 0.51% |
Up to $100K | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.33% / 0.37% |
Up to $500K | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.08%/0.1% | 0.25% / 0.29% |
WOO X offers competitive spot trading fees, significantly lower than the industry average.
WOO X offers fee discounts for traders staking 1,800+ WOO tokens or trading over $5M in 30 days, with VIP5 traders paying 0% maker fees. However, these benefits mainly suit very active or professional traders. If you’re trading around $10,000 or less monthly, you might find better discount structures on other exchanges.
Here’s a more detailed overview of WOO X’s trading fees:
Pricing Tier | WOO Staked | 30-Day Spot Trading Volume (USDT) | Maker Fee | Taker Fee | Industry Average |
VIP0 (Regular) | 0 | 0 | 0.08% | 0.1% | 0.41% / 0.51% |

VIP4 | 100,000,000 | 0% | 0.02% |
VIP5 | 250,000,000 | -0.005% | 0.015% |
WOO X offers low futures trading fees compared to exchanges like Bitmart and CoinEx, which start at 0.0200% / 0.0600%. High-volume traders at VIP5 receive negative maker fees, earning rebates for adding liquidity.
WOO X does not charge fees for crypto deposits, allowing traders to move funds into the platform without additional costs.
Third-Party Payment Method | Fee |
Legends Trading | 3.69% |
Mercuryo | 1.48% |
Ramp | 1.45% |
Crypto | No fees |
Unlike Binance or Kraken, WOO X doesn’t support direct fiat deposits. Users have to buy crypto through external services before moving funds to WOO X.
The platform offers third-party providers like Legends Trading, which have high fees. In contrast, depositing $10,000 is free on exchanges like Coinbase, while WOO X charges over $200 for the same transaction.
Crypto withdrawal fees vary by asset and depend on blockchain network congestion. However, it’s worth noting that many exchanges, like Coinbase, Binance, and Bybit, offer free crypto deposits and sometimes even free withdrawals with ACH.
Asset | Withdrawal Fee |
Bitcoin (BTC) | 0.0004 BTC |
Ethereum (ETH) | 0.003 ETH (Free on Arbitrum) |
USDT (ERC-20) | 5 USDT |
USDT (TRC-20) | 1 USDT |
WOO X provides various discounts, including:
However, WOO X’s fee discounts are not as extensive as those offered by exchanges like Bitget, KuCoin, or Gate.io, which have more promotional offers.
Overall, WOO X has reasonable trading fees, suitable if you prefer crypto deposits, but third-party payment deposits were a drawback for me due to significant fees.
Please note that fees may vary, and it’s advisable to check WOO X’s official website for the latest information.
WOO X supports about 183 cryptocurrencies and offers a variety of spot and futures trading pairs, including major assets and popular altcoins. While this is a decent selection, it’s lower than what most top 25 exchanges offer, as many list 300+ crypto assets.
Major Coins: BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, LTC
Niche & DeFi Tokens: BNB, AVAX, Polkadot
Meme Coins: DOGE, SHIB

After my testing, I found that WOO X is one of the best crypto exchanges for listing a cryptocurrency. The platform collaborates with top organizations to support crypto projects with financial and marketing assistance during their listing process.
According to WOO X, tokens based on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Cardano, Ripple, Tron, and Avalanche receive a faster listing process.
WOO X supports stablecoins USDT and USDC but lacks fiat-to-crypto trading for USD and EUR. Availability of cryptocurrencies and services varies by country, so users should verify local regulations and supported currencies.
WOO X has excellent liquidity compared to other exchanges, ideal for token listings and high-frequency trading. Traders benefit from fast trade execution and minimal price slippage. However, liquidity on smaller or rarer assets can be noticeably thinner, leading to slower order fills compared to more established trading pairs.
WOO X provides limited deposit and withdrawal options.
💰 Crypto deposits are free; third-party fiat purchases via Legend Trading, Ramp, and Mercuryo.
🚫 No direct fiat withdrawal available.
⚠️ I found the absence of fiat withdrawal options a major drawback that negatively impacted my experience.
WOO X allows crypto deposits and fiat purchases through third-party providers and this leads to high fees. But does not support ACH, wire transfers, SEPA/SWIFT, or e-wallet payments. The minimum crypto deposit amount is $1, while the minimum fiat purchase amount is $30.
Payment Method | Accepted Fiats | Fee |
Bank Transfer (ACH) | N/A | N/A |

Legends Trading | USD, EUR, CAD, AUD | 3.61% |

Ramp | USD, EUR, CAD, AUD | 1.45% |
Deposit options vary by region, so users should check the official WOO X website for the most accurate and region-specific deposit information.
WOO X does not support fiat withdrawals. Instead, users must convert their crypto holdings and transfer them to an external wallet or exchange. This can be inconvenient for users who prefer direct fiat withdrawals, as supported by exchanges like Binance and Bitstamp.j

To evaluate the quality of customer services for diverse user needs, we created a unique trading test. We personally contact support using all available methods and present hypothetical problems that users might face. Our evaluation concentrates on how quickly they respond, the quality of the help provided, and whether we can talk to a real person rather than a bot. This method effectively measures the capability of customer support to assist both active traders and casual investors.
Like most bots, WOO X’s chatbot provided generic answers to preprogrammed questions. It covered account security, KYC, trading, referral programs, staking, and account services. Instead of directly answering, it referred me to FAQ articles.
Email support was much better. I asked about proof of reserves, custody methods, and insurance availability. I received a response in less than 15 hours. Answer quality ranged from medium to high, and the representative addressed all my questions.
Compared to competitors, WOO X’s email support is better than exchanges like Tapbit or P2B.
