The FTSE 100 broke down during the week, slicing through the vital 7300 level. Because of this, I think it’s only a matter of time before we go looking for support at 7100. This is due to the Bank of England suggesting that their interest rate hikes coming, and that of course has made the British pound much more expensive than it was just a week ago. That has hurt exporters, and that continues to be a bit of a drag on the FTSE 100 going forward. If we break down below 7100, we could go as low as 6600.
