The FTSE 100 gapped lower at the open on Tuesday, and then fell down towards the 7300 level. We have bounced significantly from there and have a gap to fill going towards the 7400 level. I think we probably will try to do that, as the British pound is weaker overall. I think that the 7400 level above should be significant resistance though, so this is a short-term “smash and grab” type of situation at best. Ultimately, I think that this market will continue to find volatile conditions, and most of this probably had to do with the North Korean situation, not necessarily anything involving Great Britain. Because of this, I think the volatility is short term.
