Colombia Unemployment Rate

The unemployment rate in Colombia fell to 9.6% in March 2025, down from 11.3% in the same month last year, although remaining above the lowest level since late 2015 of 8.2% in November 2024. The employed population increased by 1.057 million, reaching 23.702 million year-on-year. The labor force participation rate decreased to 64.7% from 63.9% a year earlier, while the employment rate rose to 58.5% from 56.7%.
