Consumer prices in Cyprus decreased by 0.5% year-on-year in November 2025, following a 0.3% drop in the previous month. This was the seventh straight month of deflation, as prices continued to decline for food and non-alcoholic beverages (-3.1% vs -2.1% in October), housing and utilities (-1.2% vs -1.1%), transport (-0.7% vs -0.4%), clothing and footwear (-7.6% vs -6.7%), and furnishings, household equipment and supplies (-0.8% vs -1%). On the other hand, prices rose mainly for restaurants and hotels (5% vs 4.4%), miscellaneous goods and services (1% vs 0.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell by 0.6% in November, the first decline in four months, reversing a 0.5% increase in October.
