Latest Updates
France’s official reserve assets declined to €294.72 billion in June 2025, down from €304.61 billion in May, marking the lowest level since January. The decrease was primarily driven by a sharp drop in gold reserves, which fell by €7.90 billion to €219.38 billion. Foreign currency reserves also went down by €1.16 billion, reaching €30.49 billion, while claims on the IMF decreased by €0.92 billion to €38.43 billion. In contrast, other reserve assets edged slightly higher, rising by €0.09 billion to €6.42 billion. The overall reduction reflects shifts in asset valuations and adjustments in reserve components during the month.
