The Swiss unemployment rate held steady at a non-seasonally adjusted 2.7% in June 2025, remaining at its lowest level since November 2024. The number of unemployed persons fell by 1.1 thousand to a seven-month low of 126.9 thousand. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, measuring job-seekers between 15 and 24 years old, was unchanged at 2.5%, with the number of young unemployed rising slightly by 0.07 thousand to 10.7 thousand. At the same time, the number of reported job vacancies increased by 1.6 thousand to 39.8 thousand positions during the month. Adjusted for seasonal factors, the jobless rate edged up to 2.9% in June from 2.8% in May.
