PLTR, TSLA and SMCI Forecast – Major Tech Stocks Sleepy in Premarket Trading

The three stocks in this analysis all seem a bit sleepy in premarket trading, as we are looking forward to the US-China meeting over the weekend. At this point, traders have spent a lot of bullish energy in the markets, based on hope. Can it hold?

PLTR Technical Analysis

The market for Palantir looks as if it is going to be fairly noisy during the trading session on Friday, if the previous Thursday action is to be believed. The $125 level in Palantir features a bit of a double top and I think traders are going to have to keep that in the back of their mind.

Ultimately, this is a scenario where we’re in an uptrend, and the question is, at this point, can we finally break out? I do think we’re getting close to building that necessary momentum. But in pre-market trading, it looks like it’s going to open up pretty much where it closed.

TSLA Technical Analysis

Tesla looks like in pre-market trading there are some buyers, but we still have a little bit of a barrier in the form of $300 that will have to be overcome. With that being the case, I think you have a situation where you wait to see if you get the breakout, but there is a bullish flag forming here, which does suggest that we are going to see Tesla go quite a bit higher. I don’t necessarily think that it’s going to scream higher. I just think that we had gotten so oversold and so ridiculous about the social issues that the adults came in and started buying again.

SMCI Technical Analysis

Super Micro Computer is basically just up a few ticks in pre-market trading. And it does look like it’s going to try to reach the 50 day EMA eventually. It’s essentially in a larger bottoming pattern right now, and I think part of that is mainly due to the fact that we don’t really know how tariffs are going to play out. With that, some of the chip companies and other computer electronic related companies have had some issues. Supermicro computer is most certainly one of them, but it does look like there’s a floor near the $25 level.
