The US dollar closed the previous week at multi-month high while the Euro fell to three month low after the ECB announced to extend their quantitative easing program. EUR/USD finished the week at 1.1607, down -1.44%.

In the week ahead, investors will closely watch:

  • Japan September Retail Sales on Monday at 00:50 GMT
  • BoJ Rate Decision and quarterly outlook report on Tuesday at 4:00 GMT
  • Eurozone Inflation on Tuesday at 11:00 GMT
  • US ADP Employment on Wednesday at 13:15 GMT
  • Fed Interest Rate Decision on Wednesday at 19:00 GMT
  • US Non-Farm Payrolls for October on Friday at 13:30 GMT
