Ireland's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 4% in June 2025, unchanged from the previous month. The number of unemployed persons declined by 5,000 month-over-month to 117,900 in June, with female unemployment falling to 56,600, while male unemployment rose to 61,300 from 57,700 and 60,700, respectively. On an annual basis, the unemployment rate fell to 4% from 4.4% in June 2024. Meanwhile, among individuals aged 25–74 years, the jobless rate remained unchanged for the second consecutive month at 3% in June 2025.
