Luxembourg Unemployment Rate

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Luxembourg edged down to 5.9% in June 2025, easing from 6.0% in May — the highest level recorded since May 2021. The number of unemployed persons fell by 583 to 17,886, signaling a modest improvement in the labor market. Total employment rose by 1,647 to 526,181, while the active labor force among Luxembourg nationals increased by 127 to 317,723. Meanwhile, the number of outgoing resident employees remained stable at 14,049, and incoming cross-border workers increased by 337 to 231,334.
