Slovakia's annual inflation rate held steady at 3.7% in November 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its lowest level since April 2024. Prices rose for housing and utilities (2.9% vs 2.5% in October), health (3.1% vs 2.5%), miscellaneous goods and services (7.1% vs 6.7%), transport (4.4% vs 3.4%), and restaurants and hotels (9.0% vs 8.9%), while costs were steady for recreation and culture (5.4%) and communication (4.3%). Conversely, inflation slowed for food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.9% vs 1.4%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (5.8% vs 6.1%), clothing and footwear (2.3% vs 2.6%), furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (2.4% vs 3.1%), and education (8.8% vs 8.9%) On a monthly basis, consumer prices advanced 0.3% in November, following a 0.1% rise in the prior month. Meanwhile, core inflation, which excludes goods with regulated prices, eased to a seven-month low of 2.9% in November from 3% in October.
