Investors continue to push global equities higher. President Trump is in Korea today and tomorrow will visit China. The Nikkei has climbed higher. And the U.S Dollar is stronger in early trading. Janet Yellen will be speaking later.

U.S Dollar Strong Across Board, Insight Regarding Strength of Jobs Market

President Trump’s tour of Asia continues today, but U.S investors are paying equal attention to the rumblings from Washington regarding the tax reform package which is being debated. The Jolts Job Openings data will be released today and will give additional insights about the strength of the U.S labor market. The U.S Dollar has been strong in early trading, and Wall Street remains bullish.

Spectacular Gains in Asia Once Again, Trade Balance from China Tomorrow

Investors who have attempted to sell Asian equity Indexes with the belief they are going to reverse lower have likely been punished severely. The Nikkei Index climbed in spectacular fashion again today and following in its footsteps was the Topix among other Asian equity exchanges. President Trump is in South Korea today and is being watched closely. Trade Balance numbers are scheduled to come from China early tomorrow, along with a Leading Indicators reading from Japan.

German Industrial Production Falls, Pound, and Euro Taken Lower Early

The Halifax Home Price Index beat its estimate slightly in the U.K, but the Pound has lost ground against the U.S Dollar and is trading near 1.3140. German Industrial Production data came in below expectations with a drop of minus -1.6 percent. The Euro has also lost ground against the U.S Dollar. However, the Dax Index has seen some buying activity among European equities. French Trade Balance figures will be released tomorrow.

Speculative Buying Emerging in Crude Oil, Improving Outlook for Crude Oil

Crude Oil saw a parade of speculation emerge on Monday as buyers piled into the commodity and it surpassed 57.00 U.S Dollars a barrel. Political developments in Saudi Arabia may be helping the outlook for Crude Oil and the energy is likely to remain dynamic the entire week.

Janet Yellen Speech in Washington, Labor Report from States

Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen will get plenty of attention today when she speaks at 19:30 GMT in Washington.
