Latest Updates
South Korea's industrial production rose by 2.9% month-on-month in March 2025, significantly exceeding market expectations of a modest 0.2% increase. The strong performance was driven primarily by robust growth in semiconductor manufacturing. This marks the second consecutive month of expansion, accelerating from February’s 1.4% rise. On a year-over-year basis, industrial output climbed 5.3% in March. While this represents a slowdown from the 7.1% growth recorded in February, it still surpassed the anticipated 3.3% increase.
