Corporate profits in the United States rose by 2% from the previous period to $3.266 trillion in the second quarter of 2025, reversing a 3.3% slump in Q1, preliminary estimates showed. Undistributed profits surged 6.7% (vs -11% in the previous period), and net cash flow with inventory valuation adjustment rose 4.8% (vs -4.3%). Meanwhile, net dividends fell by 0.8%, after a 1.8% increase in the first quarter. Compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, corporate profits rose by 4%.
