MRVL is regaining bullish momentum after its pullback, reclaiming key moving averages and positioning the stock for a potential advance toward $300.
Marvel Technologies, Inc. (MRVL) is a fabless semiconductor company focused on data infrastructure. Its stock has been showing relative strength in the sector following the recent completion of a pullback to the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement of the prior sharp advance. A higher swing low of $162.90 was established in late July, followed by further signs of strengthening. The subsequent recovery has helped reinforce the broader bullish structure and brought key resistance levels back into focus.
A peak of $329.88 in June ended a 367% rally when measured from the February swing low of $70.69 and a 159% advance from a long-term bullish breakout above the prior peak of $127.48 from January 2025. Given the constructive rally that followed the recent low, the long-term bullish trend remains dominant and appears poised to continue overall. The magnitude of the prior advance also puts the current recovery in perspective, as MRVL has already demonstrated substantial underlying demand.
This week, the 50-day moving average was reclaimed as support for the first time since it failed as support in mid-July. A new high for the advance was hit on Thursday at $250.65, with the daily close at
$251.01. It followed the reclaim of the 20-day moving average two weeks ago and puts MRVL back above a key trend indicator. The recovery of the 50-day moving average further confirms the completion of the recent pullback and suggests a transfer of control back to buyers. With both the 20-day and 50-day moving averages reclaimed, the short-term trend is showing a clearer bullish bias.
Since the short-term advance is showing signs of continuing, higher targets come into sight, starting with the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement of the recent decline. A lower swing high target at $300.00 follows. Near-term support is now represented by the 50-day moving average and Thursday’s higher daily low of $234.53. A minor higher swing low of $211.10 from Tuesday, along with the 20-day moving average, now near $208.28, provide other key potential support zones. An uptrend line across the lower boundary of the current advance provides an additional dynamic support guide. If these support levels hold, the improving short-term structure leaves room for a continued advance toward the higher targets.
The weekly chart confirms strength with a series of higher weekly lows and higher highs, plus the lows of this week and last week confirmed support at the 20-week moving average. That followed a couple of weeks where MRVL traded partially below that moving average. The weekly support confirmation reinforces the improving daily structure and supports the view that the recent pullback has likely completed, leaving the broader bullish trend intact.
