Nasdaq 100, Dow Jones 30 and S&P 500 Forecasts – US Indices Continue to See Volatility

US indices continue to be very choppy in pre-market trading on Thursday, as the markets continue to watch the interest rate markets very closely. At this point, I remain bullish but recognize that the market have gotten ahead of themselves.

NASDAQ 100 Technical Analysis

The Nasdaq 100 initially rolled over during the early part of the session, only to turn around and show signs of strength. Ultimately, the 30,000 level seems to be a bit of a target or perhaps even magnet for price.

And I do think that eventually market participants will continue to look at this as a potential buy on the dip type of market. Maybe a little bit of sideways action after this explosive move to the upside over the last several months.

Dow Jones 30 Technical Analysis

The Dow Jones 30 has fallen a bit during the trading session on Thursday, as we continue to see a lot of choppiness, and I do think we see a lot of support underneath near the 50,000 level. The market participants are looking at the interest rates in America as being strong, and that, of course, causes a certain amount of support. All things being equal, the market rallying towards the 52,000 level is what I expect, but I also expect a lot of volatility.

S&P 500 Technical Analysis

The S&P 500 initially fell during the trading session on Thursday but has turned around to show signs of life. And I think ultimately comes down to trying to reach the 7,600 level.

The market breaking above 7,600 opens up the possibility of a move to the 8,000 level over the longer term but it will take some time to get there. Expect a lot of noisy trading, expect a lot of choppiness, but I expect a lot of buyers on dips.
