Elev8 is a global CFD broker offering over 260 trading instruments. It stands out with its clean Elev8Trader platform, which features fluent charts and integrated market research. The broker also supports MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.
My live testing revealed that Elev8’s trading fees are generally low, with especially tight prices on currency pairs and Bitcoin. Only costs on oil and indices exceeded the industry average in my test. Another highlight is swap-free trading on all available instruments, which makes Elev8 a great option for overnight trading.
On the downside, Elev8 is incorporated offshore. The broker is licensed and regulated by the FSC Mauritius and MISA of the Comoros Union; however, MISA’s supervisory practices are considered significantly weaker than those of higher-tier regulators.
All things considered, Elev8 is still an up-and-coming broker that offers decent conditions for swing and news traders.

When reviewing a broker, we assess whether it suits different trading strategies and trader profiles. To achieve this, we evaluate the availability of the necessary features and tools. Here’s our verdict about Elev8:
You can get started with Elev8 for just $25. The broker’s universal trading account is supported on all three platforms, Elev8Trader, MT4, and MT5, and features mostly competitive spreads.
Elev8 offers swap-free trading across all available instruments, making the broker a particularly attractive option for overnight trading. My one minor gripe is that the broker does not offer enough low-risk securities, like ETFs, which are widely favored for long-term trading.
Based on my hands-on testing, Elev8 offers favorable conditions for day trading forex, metals, and cryptocurrencies. Day traders will also benefit from Elev8Trader’s fluid charts and advanced market analytics.
MT4 and MT5 both support one-click trading and Depth-of-Market (DoM) trading. Scalpers can also place market, limit, and stop orders on both platforms. However, Elev8 does not provide Virtual Private Server (VPS) hosting for low-latency trading.
The Elev8Trader platform features advanced market analytics, making it a great fit for news traders. I found the technical breakdowns of currently developing trading setups particularly useful. However, the broker can become even more attractive to news traders if it adds third-party content from sources such as Trading Central or Autochartist.
Automated trading via Expert Advisors (EAs) is available on both MT4 and MT5. You can choose from several built-in EAs or purchase custom-built ones from the MetaQuotes marketplace. Additionally, both platforms have strategy testers, allowing algo traders to tweak the parameters of their systems. One drawback is the lack of VPS hosting.
Copy trading is supported on MT4 and MT5. Signal followers can filter through the available strategies and subscribe to the ones they like most. However, these strategies do not appear to be linked to any active Elev8 clients.
Elev8 offers over 100 real stocks of U.S. and European companies. By purchasing those assets, you can earn dividends. Elev8 has set a minimum deposit of $10,000 to access the service.
Elev8 offers swap-free trading across all available instruments, which sets it apart from most other brokers. This lets you trade overnight without worrying about incurring negative interest on your open positions.
I opened a Standard account with Elev8 Markets Ltd and tested the desktop and mobile app versions of the MetaTrader 5 platform, as well as the Elev8Trader web platform. Some features and services may vary by location.

The Elev8 brand incorporates two entities: one holds the licence from the FSC Mauritius, while the other is licensed and regulated by MISA, which we consider a weak offshore regulator. On the plus side, Elev8 maintains high standards of fee transparency.

When reviewing a broker, we examine how each of its entities is regulated and assess how effectively they protect clients. We use a three-tier system to rank regulatory bodies, with Tier-1 being the most trusted and offering the highest level of protection.
This is what I discovered about Elev8:
I reviewed the broker’s client agreement and risk disclosure to examine how Elev8 protects its clients. These documents can be accessed from the ‘Legal’ section of the website.
Here is what I found about Elev8:
✅ Segregated Accounts – Client funds are kept separate from the company’s own capital.
✅ Negative Balance Protection – Your losses cannot exceed your invested capital.
❌ Compensation Scheme – In the unlikely event of insolvency, you may not be entitled to compensation.
To learn more about the most important safety mechanisms and how they apply to you, check our dedicated guide on client protections.
We also assess a broker’s stability and transparency. This includes how long the company has been in business, its size, and how openly it shares information about its business and services.
I reviewed Elev8’s company background and social media channels, including its LinkedIn profile, and learned that the broker was established four years ago and employs fewer than 20 professionals.
I further checked Elev8’s client agreement and risk notice, both available from the legal docs section of the website. Both documents state that the broker segregates client funds and provides negative balance protection.
I also appreciated Elev8’s high fee transparency. There is a live spreads feed on the website, allowing casual visitors to quickly assess the broker’s fee transparency and competitiveness.
Elev8 is reasonably safe to trade with due to the following factors:
My live testing revealed that Elev8 charges low spreads on currency pairs, stocks, gold, and Bitcoin. On the other hand, costs on indices and oil exceeded the industry average. Swing traders will favor that Elev8 offers swap-free trading across all instruments, unlike most brokers. I also learned that Elev8 does not charge an inactivity fee and that deposits and withdrawals are free.
I tested Elev8’s spreads on a Standard account on 27 February 2026 during the London and New York market openings. I used a live account on the MetaTrader 5 platform. Here are my results:
| Account Type | Standard | ||
| Instrument | Live Spread AM | Live Spread PM | Industry Average* |
| EURUSD | 1.1 pips | 1.1 pips | 1.19 pips |
| GBPJPY | 2.5 pips | 2.4 pips | 2.86 pips |
| Gold (XAUUSD) | 30 pips | 40 pips | 36 cents |
| Crude Oil | 0.08 cents | 0.07 pips | 0.04 cents |
| Apple | NA | 33 cents | 33 cents |
| Tesla | NA | 40 cents | 51 cents |
| Dow Jones 30 | 5.8 basis points | 5.8 basis points | 3.7 basis points |
| Germany 40 | 5.5 basis points | 3.6 basis points | 2.7 basis points |
| Bitcoin | $30.18 | $30.58 | $51.44 |
*These industry average values are derived from a pool of nearly 70 brokers that we tested. The numbers were last updated in January 2026.
Elev8’s Standard Account stands out with its $30 BTCUSD spread, which is markedly lower than the industry average. Forex and stock spreads were also competitive, though much closer to the industry benchmark.
Regarding Elev8’s commodity spreads, it is important to note that I collected my data in the wake of the U.S. war against the Iranian regime. It caused significant market turbulence, particularly in the energy sector, due to Iran’s geopolitical significance to global supply, which could explain the relatively wide 0.07/0.08-pip WTI spread I recorded. At the same time, I was somewhat surprised by the relatively low 30-40 cents spread range on the XAUUSD.
A swap fee is the cost of keeping a trade open overnight, and it’s tied to the difference in interest rates between the two currencies in a pair. If you’re holding a buy (long) position, you may either pay or earn interest depending on the rates—this is called a swap long. The same applies to a sell (short) position, where the overnight charge or credit is called a swap short.
Unlike most other forex and CFD brokers, Elev8 charges no overnight fees. All available instruments can be traded swap-free. This benefits longer-term and swing traders, as they can keep their positions open for multiple days without worrying about incurring negative interest.
To help you understand how much you’ll pay to trade each instrument, I calculated the cost of trade using the formula: spread rate x pip value + commission rate (swaps are not included).
| Instrument | Elev8 Standard Account | Industry Average |
| EURUSD | $11 | $11.97 |
| GBPJPY* | $15.36 | $18.31 |
| Gold (XAUUSD) | $35 | $36.56 |
| Crude Oil | $75 | $41.60 |
| Apple | $33 | $32.98 |
| Tesla | $40 | $51.22 |
| Dow Jones 30 | $58 | $37.57 |
| Germany 40* | $54.28 | $32.58 |
| Bitcoin | $30 | $51.44 |
*The base currency values are converted to US dollars.
I found that Elev8 offers very low fees for BTCUSD trading. The EURUSD and AAPL costs are almost on par with the industry benchmark, while its GBPJPY, TSLA, and XAUUSD costs are better than the benchmark. Only the costs for WTI Oil, DOW 30, and DAX 40 were above average.
Elev8 does not impose an inactivity fee on dormant accounts. I also learned that the broker does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees, though third-party processing fees may apply.
The broker is breaking ground with its Elev8Trader platform, which features advanced market analytics and high-definition charts. It is available for web and mobile devices. Elev8 also offers MT4 and MT5, whose leg up over the broker’s own trading platform is higher functionality. You can use MetaTrader for one-click trading, DoM trading, copy trading, and automated trading via Expert Advisors (EAs).
| Platform/Tool | Suitable For |
| Elev8Trader (Web and mobile) | Advanced technical analysis, advanced market analytics, account management and trading on the go |
| MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 (Web, desktop, mobile) | Basic technical analysis, automated trading, and trading on the go |
I tested Elev8Trader and appreciated its clean design and integrated market research, which not every trading platform offers. However, it does not support copy or automated trading, as is available in MetaTrader.
Basic Set of Tools. The Elev8Trader platform can be used to place market, limit, and stop orders. It also supports floating orders (break-even and trailing stop tools). You can place trading alerts and customize your watchlists of selected instruments. I also counted more than 50 analytical tools (technical indicators and drawing tools) and chart configurations.
Intuitive Design. I really appreciated Elev8Trader for its streamlined interface, built for speed and efficiency. You can easily navigate it without feeling overwhelmed. Another highlight of the layout is the clear, fluid charts, which enable deep, penetrating price action analysis.
Integrated Research. The Elev8Trader also features penetrating market research. The integrated trading signals inform you about currently developing trading setups. You can read about price formations and what the underlying technical indicators say about the opportunity. I also really liked that you can copy the setups directly to the chart. You can access those and other research tools from the ‘Space’ section located on the right-hand side.
Educational Content. Another great perk of the Elev8Trader platform is the integrated educational content. You can access over 30 educational articles introducing novice traders to different trading strategies – from day trading to swing trading.
I have also tested MetaTrader 5, which has a rather old-school feel but is packed with more features.
A classic outlook. MetaTrader inspired a classic design that is replicated by many other trading platforms. It features a broad charting area occupying the middle section of the screen, a comprehensive tools panel at the top, and watchlists and navigator screens on the left-hand side.
Multiple functionalities. My favourite thing about MetaTrader is its extensive functionality, which accommodates a range of trading styles. Beyond day and swing trading, the platform also supports automated trading via Expert Advisors (EAs), scalping via the one-click trading and depth-of-market (DoM) tools, copy trading, and more. You can even use the built-in strategy tester to assess your strategies’ performance and tweak their parameters.
Educational Materials. My other favorite thing about MetaTrader is its extensive library of guides, articles, and tutorials that explain the platform’s various functionalities. Few other platforms match MT’s educational database. You can access it from the ‘Help’ tab at the top panel and then clicking ‘Video Guides’ or ‘MQL5 Articles’.
Outdated Look. On the downside, MT5’s outdated charting capabilities are outmatched by more modern trading stations, such as cTrader and TradingView. In my opinion, its chart visuals are too rugged.
Within the Elev8 ecosystem, the MT5 platform is available for Windows and Mac users and supports 39 languages, including English, Spanish, German, Arabic, and Chinese.
MT5 features include:
MT5 is loaded with analytical tools, including:
That said, MT5’s charts get cluttered quite easily, especially when applying more than one technical indicator or drawing tool. Price action becomes obscured and difficult to interpret. Overall, MT5’s charts are not ideal for traders accustomed to streamlined and easily scalable setups.
MT5 offers three execution modes and covers all the core order types needed by most traders:
The MT5 mobile app is available on iOS and Android devices and offers most of the desktop version’s functionality. This makes the MT5 app a convenient tool for staying connected to the market and adjusting your positions on the fly.
You can place market, limit, and stop orders, as well as manage position size and risk directly from the app. That said, the charting experience still feels a bit cramped, and price action can be hard to scale and analyze comfortably on a small screen.
Elev8 offers over 260 CFD instruments across currency pairs, commodities, share CFDs and real stocks, indices, and cryptocurrencies. The highlight of the offering is its support for more than 30 cryptocurrencies, including major and minor pairs. On the downside, Elev8 does not provide any low-risk securities, such as ETFs or bonds. I also learned that stock CFD trading is only available via MT4 and MT5. Overall, Elev8’s offering of tradable instruments is sufficient for casual trading but still lags behind the range of assets many other brokers offer.

Elev8 offers instant chat support via its AI bot, available 24/7. You can submit your questions in multiple languages, including English, Malay, French, and Chinese. I conducted a series of tests and found the bot very knowledgeable, able to answer questions of varying difficulty. Elev8 also provides support via email, but the phone option is unavailable.

When we test a broker’s customer support, we evaluate the agent’s knowledge of their own website, the time it takes them to respond to questions, and the level of detail in their answers.
I conducted my test on 2 March at around 10:00 CET by asking about the difference between the Elev8Trader and MetaTrader. The bot provided a swift, well-structured response, highlighting the key technical differences between the two trading stations. However, there were several irregularities too.
For example, the bot suggested that there are cost benefits to the Elev8Trader, claiming “lower spreads compared to MT5”. Yet, I did not find any noticeable difference in the spreads from the data I collected.
I then enquired about Elev8’s retail leverage on stocks and copy trading services. The bot’s answers were quick and to the point again. Though I noticed a tendency to highlight the broker’s bonus programs even when they were not directly related to my questions. I found this somewhat pushy. Even still, the provided help was of very high quality.

Payments to and from Elev8 can be processed via Skrill, Neteller, and cryptocurrencies. The broker makes it simple by offering fast processing and free payments (third-party processing fees may apply). Although I was surprised that other options, like wire transfer or bank cards, are not available, given that this is pretty standard with other brokers*.
*Payment methods vary by region; options like Visa and Mastercard are available to Elev8 clients in some countries.
Note: I did not deposit/withdraw real capital with Elev8 for the purposes of this review.
| Deposit Method | Currencies | Fee | Processing Time |
| Skrill | EUR, USD | $0 | Instant |
| Neteller | EUR, USD | $0 | Instant |

| Cryptocurrencies | BTC, LTC, TRC20, ERC20 | $0 | Up to 24 hours |
Note: The selection of deposit and withdrawal options depends on the region, and many Elev8 clients also have access to VISA, MasterCard, and other methods.
Elev8 offers all its clients a Status program that rewards them for their activities. There are 4 statuses: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum, each giving access to various rewards and promotions. By unlocking the highest, platinum status, Elev8 clients get faster deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
Elev8 offers three account types that differ only by trading platform. All accounts feature commission-free trading and floating spreads from 0.6 pips. You can get started with only $25 and complete a registration in less than 8 minutes. USD is the only available base currency, which can limit some international traders.
To open an account with Elev8, I followed these simple steps:

All Elev8’s accounts have almost equal conditions and pricing models. They only differ by the platform you trade on – MT4, MT5, and Elev8Trade. Trading via Expert Advisors and stock trading are only available via MetaTrader.
The other key difference is the maximum volume traded at each trading station. While the Elev8Trade platform is rather suitable for casual traders with its maximum allowed volume of 50 lots, MT5 (max. 200 lots) and MT4 (max. 500 lots) are much better for high-volume trading.
Elev8 offers demo accounts to let traders explore its trading platforms and their capabilities and test their strategies in a risk-free environment. Since markets are constantly changing, it’s crucial to keep your skills sharp without risking real money. You can open a demo account before or alongside your live CFD account.
Elev8’s standard pricing features swap-free trading across all available instruments.
The maximum retail leverage with Elev8 is 1:1000. This means that if you put aside just $100 for trading and utilize the full 1:1000 leverage, you would be able to open a position worth $100,000.
A word of caution. Trading on margin with high leverage is extremely risky and may result in significant losses.
| Asset | Maximum Leverage |
| Currency Pairs | 1:1000 |
| Metals | 1:400 |
| Energies | 1:400 |
| Stocks | 1:5 |
| Indices | 1:400 |
| Cryptocurrencies | 1:200 |
Elev8 does not accept traders from Canada, India, Iran, Israel, Japan, Myanmar, New Zealand, North Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines, the UAE, the UK, the US, the European Union countries, or any other country or jurisdiction where trading is prohibited by law.
Elev8 delivers a decent selection of research materials, including a basic economic calendar, a news screener, actionable trading signals, and several other tools. I was most impressed by the AI-generated technical breakdowns of currently developing trading setups, which I found highly informative and easy to understand. On the downside, the broker does not offer any third-party content from sources like Trading Central or Autochartist, nor does it publish any video content.
Elev8 also publishes market breakdowns on its news screener, helping you stay on top of the latest market-moving headlines. Most articles are focused on the technical aspect of things, tracking price action, the emergence of new levels of support and resistance, and so on.
Elev8 has published several dozen articles and guidebooks for first-time and intermediate traders. The content is primarily focused on the technical side of trading. For example, you can learn how to spot flag patterns and how to use Fibonacci retracement levels. However, no attention is paid to fundamental analysis, risk management, or trading psychology.
I counted about 40 educational articles available on the website and the Elev8Trader platform. They are highly practical and offer valuable trading insights, such as how to spot different trading patterns. On the other hand, the content feels disjointed and lacks an overarching structure. My other gripe is that the materials are only available in written form – there are no videos.
Elev8 is a financial derivatives broker offering 260+ tradable instruments to traders globally. The broker has licences from two offshore regulators – MISA and FSC – so keep in mind that the client protection is quite loose.
I found that Elev8 offers very low fees for BTCUSD trading. The costs on forex, gold, and share CFDs were also better than the industry average or aligned with it. Only the prices for WTI Oil and indices exceeded the benchmark.
Elev8 stands out for its swap-free trading across all available assets, making it a great option for swing traders. It also impressed me with its user-friendly Elev8Trader platform, integrated with daily insights from real experts. While the platform doesn’t support copy trading or automated trading, you can compensate for this with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5.
Where Elev8 lags behind other brokers is in its range of tradable instruments and depth of educational content.
All things considered, Elev8 is an OK choice for swing and news traders, largely due to its competitive pricing.
